Zinc-Based Dithiocarbamate Dispersions
Octocure 456
Octocure 456 is a 68% active anionic dispersion of rubbermaker’s sulfur, milled to a uniformly small particle size for optimum activity. Recommended use level is 1.0 – 3.0 parts per hundred of polymer based on dry weight for the vulcanization of SBR and Natural rubber latex.
Octocure 462
Octocure 462 zinc oxide dispersion is readily incorporated directly into latex emulsion compounds. Zinc oxide is a commonly used ingredient for the pigmenting and vulcanizing of latex rubber. Normal use level is 1.0 – 4.0 parts per hundred in SBR and Natural latex. Octocure 462 is based on French process zinc oxide having a surface area of 8 to 10 m2 /g.
Octocure 530
Octocure 530 is an accelerator dispersion prepared for ready use in latex compounding. Typical use levels are 0.5 – 1.5 parts per hundred of SBR, Neoprene, and Nitrile latices as a strong secondary accelerator. Octocure 530 is wet milled to a fine particle size for maximum activity. This product is typically used as an activator for MBT and other thiazole accelerators, or in conjunction with dithiocarbamates or thiocarbanilides.
Octocure 551
Octocure 551 is a milled 50% active dispersion of thiocarbanalide. This additive is used in Neoprene latex and for Natural rubber latex and cements as a fast-curing accelerator. To accelerate Neoprene latex, a recommended starting level is 0.5 percent based on the dry weight of the polymer, usually used in conjunction with diphenyl guanidine.
Octocure 573
Octocure 573 zinc oxide dispersion is readily incorporated directly into latex emulsion compounds. Zinc oxide is a commonly used ingredient for the pigmenting and vulcanizing of latex rubber. Normal use level is 1.0 – 4.0 parts per hundred in SBR and Natural latex. Octocure 573 is based on French process zinc oxide having a surface area of 8 to 10 m2 /g.

Octocure 750
Octocure 750 is a 61.8 % active dispersion of rubber maker’s sulfur, milled to a uniformly small particle size for optimum activity. Recommended use level is 2.0 – 3.0 parts per hundred of polymer based on dry weight for the vulcanization of SBR and Natural rubber latex.
Octocure 803
Octocure 803 zinc oxide dispersion is readily incorporated directly into latex emulsion compounds. Zinc oxide is a commonly used ingredient for the pigmenting and vulcanizing of latex rubber. Normal use level is 1.0 – 4.0 parts per hundred in SBR and Natural latex. Octocure 803 is based on French process zinc oxide having a surface area of 8 to 10 m2 /g.
Octocure ZBZ-42
Octocure ZBZ-42 is a 42% active, ready to use form of accelerator for latex compounding. Typical use level is from 1 – 1.5 parts per hundred in SBR and Natural latex compounds, usually in conjunction with secondary accelerators such as ZMBT. Octocure ZBZ-42 is used in vulcanization processes where the formation of volatile nitrosoamines is to be reduced.
Octocure ZDB-50 CF
Octocure ZDB-50 CF is a 50% active, ready to use form of accelerator for latex compounding. Typical use level is from 1 – 1.5 parts per hundred in SBR and Natural latex compounds for fast cure and high modulus. Use at 2.0 phr in noncuring Natural and SBR latex compounds as a non-discoloring antioxidant.
Octocure ZDB-100
Octocure ZDB-100 is a primary accelerator for natural and synthetic polymers. Typical use level is from 1 – 1.5 parts per hundred in most Natural rubber compounds for fast cure and high modulus. Use at 2.0 phr in noncuring Natural and SBR adhesive compounds as a nondiscoloring antioxidant.
Octocure ZDB-50
Octocure ZDB-50 is a 50 % active, ready to use form of accelerator for latex compounding. Typical use level is from 1 – 1.5 parts per hundred in SBR and Natural latex compounds for fast cure and high modulus.
Octocure ZDE-50
Octocure ZDE-50 is a 50 % active, ready to use form of accelerator for latex compounding. Typical use level is from 1 – 1.5 parts per hundred in SBR and Natural latex compounds, commonly used in conjunction with equal amounts zinc mercaptobenzothiazole.
Octocure ZDIB-50
Octocure ZDIB-50 is a 50% active, ready to use form of ultra-accelerator for latex compounding.
Octocure ZDM-50
Octocure ZDM-50 is a 50 % active, ready to use form of accelerator for latex compounding. Typical use level is from 1 – 1.5 parts per hundred in SBR and Natural latex compounds. The product provides moderately fast curing with good aging properties.
Octocure ZMBT-50
Octocure ZMBT-50 is a 50 % active, ready to use form of accelerator for latex compounding. Typical use level is from 1 – 1.5 parts per hundred in SBR and Natural latex compounds. Commonly used as a secondary accelerator in conjunction with a dithiocarbamate.
Octocure ZMBT-50 CF
Octocure ZMBT-50 CF is a 51 % active, ready to use form of accelerator for latex compounding. Typical use level is from 1 – 1.5 parts per hundred in SBR and Natural latex compounds. Commonly used as a secondary accelerator in conjunction with a dithiocarbamate.
T-2000
T-2000 is a composite of essential ingredients necessary for the accelerated vulcanization of latex compounds. The ingredients are milled to a fine particle size for maximum activity. The recommended use level is 2.0 – 3.0 dry parts of T-2000 to one hundred dry parts of Natural rubber latex; however, for testing in other latices, it is suggested that lab testing evaluation be performed for acceptable performance levels.
