This is more here for open memes, but... Ed isn't very affectionate or overtly sexual, being the type to avoid anything with a sexual or romantic context if he can. That's not to say he's strictly aromantic or asexual (in fact, he leans more towards demisexual, but doesn't lend much thought to his orientation), though he may come across this way to some. Ed merely avoids most contact unless it's with someone he implicitly trusts or feels very comfortable with (such as Al, Alfons, Winry, and possibly others, depending on CR. and even then, it's tricky and different between each character). So if he is approached with any romantic or sexual intent, he might initially brush the gesture off or be completely confused.
