trakAxPC has a very user-friendly interface, a powerful tool. I fell in love with this video editor and used it for a couple of years. After I reinstalled my OS, I couldn't activate my code. It is so sad. A message to the developers HighAndes: If you have no interest in selling this app, please make this available as freeware.

Thank you
/Jan

I bought a license appealed by their customer service and happy to support a small business. They've shut everything down recently (?) with no announcement whatsoever. No support, nothing. You cannot even access the manual because everything was online. Their contempt for their customer base goes beyond my comprehension.
I've learned my lesson, that's for sure. Serves me well.

I myself am actually developing a very similar system, but it works completely different. This system is just a 2-side system, server/client. What I'm building is a 3 sided system - Server: Central service to handle all connections, as well as security and recording; Client: Service on all computers to be monitored, and hidden from user, secure from user disabling control; and Dashboard: Application which connects to server to view all active connections. The biggest difference is that you don't need to know the IP addresses or computer names of the PC's you want to monitor - instead, you tell the service what server to connect to upon installation. The Dashboard doesn't connect directly to the client, but rather to the server. This allows minimal configuration. The server service is presumed to be installed on a fairly high performance designated server computer, as it handles many heavy procedures. The dashboard can also configure the server to automatically record clients as a video and playback the history. My RDP system is more-so a surveillance system, only using desktops instead of cameras. Although the system here is quite capable of almost the same thing, the overall structure of it makes things impossible which my system does, like recording multiple clients without even opening the dashboard.
