I confirmed that the commit from https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/71801 exists in the build that was tested here, so this is a different issue.

sorry folks, haven;t been able to get to this. Was busy with a feature for Ceph 9.1, and was out for a vaction and this week is Ceph Days India ^^' . I can for sure take a look at this next week. Much apologies for all the delay!
