Description

We have a case where a cluster is suffering from malformed snapmapper keys due to bug https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/56147.

The "fix" seems to be in pr https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/47388 but this doesn't seem to be backported to any release yet.

Talking to Adam Kupczyk, and he told me to create a ticket ;-)

I there any update on this backport? This seems to be causing corruption in some of our customers' rbd images.

@wout wout@42on.com: I have started looking into it. It's far from being a simple backport, mainly due to the scrub backend refactoring. I will have to consult my team as to how to proceed.
