Picked up the package from the Post Office this morning, Suit looks amazing THANK YOU WHITEY!!

I need recommendations on a brush for him, as well as a site or wherever that I can buy clothing to wear under him...

Kinda hard for me to talk about this right now. But apparently my friend Furp was killed by a drunk driver last night. He survived a stint as a contractor in Iraq, only to be killed by a drunken marine back home... for more information go to the Anthrocon LJ post linked below.

Called up the FF hotel yesterday to confirm my reservation for next week. Was told by the guy there that they didnt have a reservation under my name but if I can find my confirmation number they should be able to fix that. Found the number this morning and called back, apparently they added an extra letter to my last name, thus making it into the last name of a used to be popular singer. So everything is sorted out, and I still have my room for FF.

I got a position within my company at a building literally two minutes from my apartment, start there on Tuesday the 29th, so no worries there, life is going to be ok.... just means I get to sit out at another corporate office for the rest of the week staring at a wall with nothing to do all day, and getting paid for it.... ugh

Hey all

Anyone in the NoVa/DC area out there have any tech openings? My ex-current contract is moving to another site in a month or so, that site is beyond what I would like to commute to, so I let my current PM know this, she told her manager who then went hunting for reasons to remove me from the contract so that they wouldnt be the first company to lose someone after the move. He brought an issue up with the client and got them to sign off on having me removed from that contract then told me that the client requested it. (found out from the client that they were pressured into it.) So I have until the end of this upcoming week to find a job within my company, and if I dont have one lined up by the end of the week then I am unemployed... fun huh?

So ya.... good times.. good time...

Anyone in the area have a tech job for a tiger? He's housebroken..... mostly

Well since Rusty has moved in things have been going well... with one exception, Rusty brought his cat with him. His cat is a little older, had rough patch or two in her life and pretty much wants to b left alone. My cat however is about a year and few months old and still has the kitten mentality and wants to play. So needless to say were constantly breaking up fights cause he tries to play with her. well recently (last month or so.) he's started pissing in random spots around the house, were assumimg that its territory/slash retaliation thing. I bought these cat pheremone things wee or so ago that are supposed to stop that kind of behaviour, and things were going well till this morning. Found a dry cat puddle next to the tub. Im at my wits end here, I lov my cat and dont want to give him up, but either i have to find a way to stop this behaviour or send him to a house where he's not going to have a moody old jersey cat to deal with, and he's able to play (which i think would cure this).
