There is nothing quite like the reductive, and rhythmic truth of a poem that speak to you. Prose are a meal but poetry (at its best) is one divine bite-- even if you're reading Whitman and you have to chew for a while. Good on these folks for keeping the soul furnace stoked!

As someone who writes commercial animated movies, I think it's essential that there is a place looking out for the creative, inspired, visionary artists who fly beneath the radar or create their own radar, and even the half-visionaries-- they need a little love and attention too
