Heya! If this is your first time hearing about Thian & Zarvin, let me introduce you to the project:

T&Z is a satirical dark sci-fi comic series set in a not-so-distant future in the city of Nusantara, following the misadventures of two neurodivergent dorks: Thian, a vietnamese autistic tech-emo with an addiction problem, and Zarvin, a tech-impaired happy-go-lucky malay muslim. Together, they will both get in and out of trouble in this dystopian hellscape torn between a sweet simulation and a harsh reality, in the process meeting a varied cast of characters (and robots) that will challenge what they thought they knew.

This project has been in the works for years now, and I am SO excited to finally share it with the world! The world is awful, as you might have noticed, and this has been the only thing that kept me going, and I hope that it has the same effect on you that it has on me. The comic has a lot of inspirations from things I grew up with, more notably eurocomics such as Spirou & Fantásio, as well as cartoons like Phineas & Ferb, Futurama and Rick & Morty. It's also my attempt at a parody of Cyberpunk, using a lot of the same tropes but twisting them in a more comedic way. Imagine what Don Quixote did to chivalric romances, for example.

I also went through a lot of hardship while making this, and as of yet I am not in a good financial position, so I have decided to open up a donation fund for the project over on my Ko-Fi page. Every cent you send my way will keep the project alive and running, with a new Issue being released every time the goal is met. This is the model I'm running with for now, and I will write more updates as the situation progresses. Ko-Fi supporters will also have access to extra content and be able to read pages before they are published.
