Michael J. Baines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Michael J. Baines is the President and Co-Founder of The Man That Rescues Dogs. A Swedish entrepreneur, he moved to Thailand in 2002 and opened a restaurant in Bangsaen, Chonburi. One day, a sick dog appeared at the backdoor of his restaurant\u2014an encounter that changed everything. Determined to help, he began feeding, treating, and transporting injured dogs to the local veterinary clinic after work. In his free time, he dedicated himself to rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming efforts, laying the foundation for what would become a life-changing mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since then, he has developed The Sanctuary into an official foundation, now recognized and supported by the local government, with key assistance and collaboration from Narongchai Khunpluem, the Mayor of Saensuk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TMTRD Non-profit Organization<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Man That Rescues Dogs Foundation now has its sights set on expanding our spay and neuter efforts and continue to provide excellent care for the 800+ dogs at our sanctuary There will also be extra effort put into Education through visits to schools and public spaces as well as allowing graduate vets to join our team in The Clinic as interns for short or long periods.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
