According to @benpearson, his original ACF Theme Code plugin is still maintained. See thread in Support for that plugin, “Still Supported?” from 2021-10-05, and his most recent note in Support (as of now) on 2021-12-21. It doesn’t look like Deepak Anand here knows that, or just didn’t want to tell anyone. So I’m downvoting as a way to lower the overall rating and drive new users back to the original code base, which is where I’m going. While adopting a plugin is always a nice gesture, in this case, and for now, it seems premature, and this plugin is not necessary.
