I-95 LANE CLOSURES
- Wednesday, June 3, through Friday, June 5, and Sunday, June 7, through Friday, June 12 – Up to four lanes on southbound I-95 from NW 29 Street to NW 8 Street will be closed as needed between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 11 a.m.
- Wednesday, June 3, through Friday, June 5, and Sunday, June 7, through Friday, June 12 – Up to four lanes on northbound I-95 will be closed as needed from NW 8 Street to NW 29 Street between 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The Friday closures will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 11 a.m.
NORTHBOUND I-95 RAMP TO EASTBOUND I-395 DETOUR
- Wednesday, June 3 and Thursday, June 4 – The northbound I-95 ramp to eastbound I-395 will be closed between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Drivers can:
- Exit at the NW 2 Street ramp (Exit 2B)
- Continue north on NW 3 Avenue, then turn right on NW 8 Street
- Continue east on NW/NE 8 Street
- Turn left on Biscayne Boulevard to access A1A North/Miami Beach

FULL CLOSURE OF WESTBOUND I-395/S.R. 836 AND THE I-95 RAMPS TO WESTBOUND S.R. 836
Wednesday, June 3 and Monday, June 8 through Thursday, June 11 – All westbound Interstate 395 (I-395) lanes at Biscayne Boulevard will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The I-395 ramps to northbound and southbound I-95 will remain open for drivers using the Downtown Miami ramp to westbound I-395.
Starting at 10 p.m. until 5:30 a.m., westbound State Road (S.R.) 836 will be closed from NW 12 Avenue to NW 17 Avenue, and the northbound and southbound I-95 ramps to westbound S.R. 836 will also be closed.
These closures are necessary to facilitate the staging of a crane and equipment for the safe installation of reinforcing steel and formwork ahead of a concrete pour for a bridge pier adjacent to S.R. 836.
- Drivers on westbound I-395 continuing to S.R. 836 can:
- Exit at the Biscayne Boulevard ramp (Exit 2) and continue west on NE 13 Street
- Turn right on NE 1 Avenue, and then turn left on NW 14 Street
- Continue west on NW 14 Street, turn left onto NW 12 Avenue
- Turn right on NW 7 Street, then right on NW 17 Avenue to access the S.R. 836 entrance ramp
- Downtown Miami drivers heading west to S.R. 836 can:
- Turn right on NE 1 Avenue, and then turn left on NW 14 Street
- Continue west on NW 14 Street, turn left onto NW 12 Avenue
- Turn right on NW 7 Street, then right on NW 17 Avenue to access the S.R. 836 entrance ramp
- NOTE: Drivers entering the ramp will only have access to northbound and southbound I-95
- Drivers on northbound I-95 heading to westbound S.R. 836 can:
- Exit at NW 2 Street (Exit 2B) and continue north on NW 3 Avenue
- Turn left on NW 3 Street, then turn right on NW North River Drive
- Go north on NW 7 Avenue, then turn onto NW 8 Street Road
- Turn left on NW 11 Street and then left on NW 12 Avenue
- Turn right on NW 7 Street, then right on NW 17 Avenue to access the S.R. 836 entrance ramp
- Drivers on southbound I-95 heading to westbound S.R. 836 can:
- Exit at the NW 14 Street ramp, continue west to NW 12 Avenue
- Turn left at NW 12 Avenue, then turn right on NW 7 Street
- Continue on NW 7 Street, then turn right at NW 17 Avenue to access the westbound S.R. 836 entrance ramp

- Wednesday, June 3, through Friday, June 5, and Sunday, June 7, through Friday, June 12 – Up to two lanes on mainline westbound I-395 will be closed as needed from Biscayne Boulevard to I-95 between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
FULL CLOSURE OF BISCAYNE BOULEVARD FOR NIGHTTIME INSTALLATION OF AUGER CAST PILES
Through Friday, June 12 – Crews are installing auger cast piles in the area shown above for temporary support towers. Work will occur nightly, Sunday through Thursday, between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
This operation must take place at night because it will require the full closure of Biscayne Boulevard from NE 11 Street to NE 13 Street, as noted below. Every effort will be made to minimize noise; however, nearby residents and businesses may experience periods of higher-than-normal noise levels during these activities.
All travel lanes on Biscayne Boulevard will be closed from NE 11 Street to NE 13 Street between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. The start and end times will be adjusted on special event days.
- Drivers on southbound Biscayne Boulevard can:
- Turn right on NE 13 Street and then turn left on NE 2 Avenue
- Turn left on NE 11 Street to connect with Biscayne Boulevard
- Drivers on northbound Biscayne Boulevard can:

DAYTIME LANE CLOSURE ON NW 14 STREET – NW 3 AVENUE TO NW 7 AVENUE
- Friday, June 5 – Two lanes on NW 14 Street from NW 3 Avenue to NW 7 Avenue will be closed between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. for landscaping work.
NW 2 AVENUE DETOUR
- Wednesday, June 3, through Friday, June 5, and Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 12 – NW 2 Avenue will be closed from NW 13 Street to NW 14 Street between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. for drainage work. Drivers should follow the posted detour routes.
SOUTHBOUND NORTH BAYSHORE DRIVE DETOUR
- Sunday, June 7 – Southbound North Bayshore Drive will be closed from NE 14 Street to NE 13 Street between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Drivers can use NE 14 Street to access Biscayne Boulevard.

The detours noted below and shown here will be in place to guide drivers around the work area. Drivers on eastbound S.R. 836 will:- Exit at NW 17 Avenue, then continue south across NW 7 Street
- Turn left at SW 1 Street and continue east
- Turn right at South Miami Avenue
- Turn right to access the ramp to I-95 north or south
- Drivers going to Biscayne Boulevard and the MacArthur Causeway can continue east on SW 1 Street and turn left on Biscayne Boulevard to connect with the MacArthur Causeway entrance ramp at NE 11 Terrace
Drivers on NW 12 Avenue wanting to access eastbound S.R. 836, I-95, Biscayne Boulevard, and the MacArthur Causeway can continue south on NW 12 Avenue, turn left at SW 1 Street, and follow the detours above.
