Big changes looming for Predators TV broadcast?

How fans watch games in Nashville could be changing sooner rather than later.

Hockey fans in Middle Tennessee are facing an unacceptable truth: It’s easier to watch Predators games in Charlotte than in Nashville.

The Nashville Predators current broadcast distribution contract with Diamond Sports Group, which will rebrand Bally Sports as FanDuel in the coming days, covers roughly 35-40% of the Nashville market.

In 2024, it’s unsustainable for a professional sports franchise to be unwatchable by a majority of its home market. Yet, that is the situation Nashville finds itself in entering what is certain to be a very watchable hockey season.
