NAVCAL assists incoming nontraditional students in navigating UC Berkeley through a near-peer approach, where current students coach and mxntor incoming students by sharing their own knowledge and experiences with the Hidden Curriculum. NAVCAL empowers students to advocate for their community, address challenges, and ensure that more students are educated on how to access and maximize available resources.
