Are You Searching to Make a Meaningful Impact? Use Your Professional Skills to Help Students with Autism!
The Dynamic Minds Academy Board of Directors needs additional members. A personal experience with autism is welcomed, but only a desire to help required. Dynamic Minds Academy (DMA) is a charter school in Indianapolis that offers a therapeutic educational setting for K-12 students who are on the autism spectrum. As a 501(c)(3) charter school that focuses on this underserved population, excellence in governance is essential. The DMA Board of Directors provides volunteer executive guidance for the administration of the school in collaboration with the staff leadership.

Anyone interested is invited to apply, but we are specifically seeking board members who have one of these professional skill sets: Social Work - Law - Finance - Special Education

- Candidates will be asked to participate in a screening process.
- Serving on the DMA Board entails a reasonable and consistent volunteer commitment. Board meetings occur monthly on a designated Thursday evening, allowing for both in-person and virtual attendance, and last approximately 90 minutes. Additionally, the board convenes in-person for a full-day retreat once or twice a year.
- Board members serve for three-year terms.
- Please note that Board Members do not regularly interact with students.
