Thoracic Surgery Medical Student Association (TSMA) Attending and Fellow/Resident Mentor Sign-up Form
Thank you for your interest in becoming a mentor for TSMA! We are excited to continue to offer this much-needed mentorship program for interested medical students across the country.

The TSMA mentorship program pairs a CT surgeon (attending or fellow/resident) with a medical student interested in CT surgery. The mentor can offer guidance in career exploration/preparation, residency application, and personal/professional growth. This form is to gather information on your background and interests. Once we match you with a mentee based on the information you provide here, an email confirmation will be sent to connect you with your mentee. You and your mentee will decide on the mode and frequency of communication, but we generally expect one check-in meeting a year with advising meetings as needed.

Your time and willingness to mentor the next generation of CT surgeons is greatly appreciated — we wouldn't be able to do this without you!

The program will accept applications on a rolling basis. If you have any questions, please contact Cynthia Rangel, Mentorship Committee Chair at TSMAmentorship@gmail.com.
