COLLABORATIVE DOCTORAL TRAINING OPPORTUNITY:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with disabilities? Do you want to be a leader in the field of special education? Project SPARC, the Special Education Teacher Education Policy, Practice, And Research Doctoral Training Consortium,
is now recruiting applicants! SPARC is a doctoral training consortium recently funded by the U.S. Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs with a “research to practice to policy” focus.
SPARC is recruiting 22 fellows for full-time in-person PhD programs in Special Education across six universities: Texas A&M, Florida State, NC State, UNC Charlotte, University of Central Florida, and George Mason.
The fellowship package includes a 30K+ annual stipend, health insurance, tuition, & fees, an annual travel stipend, funding for fellows’ research, an onboarding package that includes a laptop, and relocation funding.

EDRESEARCH WRITERS FELLOWSHIP:
The EdResearch Writers Fellowship is now accepting applications! This fellowship aims to help education researchers better communicate their research to a policymaker and practitioner audience, increasing the reach and impact of their work.
The program includes a mix of in-person and virtual learning opportunities, as well as one-on-one coaching with coach-editors from publications such as Phi Delta Kappan, the Learning Professional, and Harvard Education Press. The fellowship is led by Carrie Conaway, senior lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and former chief strategy and research officer at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

AERA DIVISON H OUTSTANDING PUBLICATIONS COMPETITION:
AERA Division H is now accepting entries for its annual Outstanding Publications Competition. Excellence will be recognized in six categories: 1) Advances in Methodology, 2) Applied Research Reports (including RPP reports), 3) Program Evaluation, 4) Assessment / Accountability, 5) Outstanding Dissertation/Thesis, 6) Communicating Research, Accountability, Evaluation and/or Assessment to Lay Audiences.
