Twenty years after the start of wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the UK has no developed policy on reparations for civilian harm.

The panel will discuss the thousands of cases of civilian death, injury and damage from UK military operations, including those where justice has been secured -- and those where it hasn&#x27;t. The event is organised to coincide with the publication of a major new report on Reparations for Civilian Harm from Military Operations which details the practice of the UK besides that of seven other coalition partner states, including the US and the Netherlands.
