Stellar Staff Application Form
Thank you for taking the time to apply as a Stellar staff member. 

We are looking for
  • Developers: if you want to contribute to the CODE of the website
  • Operations: handle day-to-day tasks to keep Stellar running
  • Product: contribute to the roadmap and future of Stellar
  • Product Testers: test and give feedback for Stellar
  • Marketing: come up with strategies to and advertise Stellar (includes Social Media and posters)
  • Legal: advise Stellar with legal issues
  • Finance: help Stellar fundraise and manage funds
  • DEI: Help make Stellar more inclusive and reach out to a wider audience
  • Subject Experts: if you are PASSIONATE or want to TEACH any of the subjects
  • Graphic Designers: if you want to help design the icons used in Stellar or help draw promotional material
  • School Ambassador: Low commitment role for students who are interested in promoting Stellar in their school (you can still receive volunteer hours!)

Stellar is coded with:
  • Svelte (frontend)
  • TailwindCSS (ui)
  • Python Flask (backend)
  • MongoDB (database)

We are looking for subject experts (curriculum contributions) for the following disciplines:
(all of these include AP and Competitive)
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology
  • History
  • English
  • Economics
  • Computer Science
You do not necessarily have to "write" curriculum, as we also need people like you to check existing curriculum, and suggest ideas on how to better teach the subject.

We have 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and can provide PVSA-certified volunteer hours.
