The Slammers Uncommitted High School Showcase is returning in early August and is set to feature the best of our 2027 and 2028 classes that have yet to find a home. This year’s dates are August 5-7, 2026 at ThunderRidge High School in Highlands Ranch, CO. Event details below:

Slammers Showcase [College Coaches + Players]

There’s no better place to be in the middle of August than Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Last year, representatives from over a dozen schools attended the three day showcase that featured players like Jake Watts (2027, Evansville), Isaac Lockwood (2027, Santa Clara), Jackson Crawford (2027, USC), Diesel Bernosky (2027, Gonzaga), Silas Meuli (2026, Chandler Gilbert CC), Tyler Houston (2026, CSUN), Keaton Maiorana (2026, UNLV), Madden Kretzer (2026, College of San Mateo), + more - all uncommitted at the time.

This is a great opportunity to see the best uncommitted players in the state of Colorado.

Our BP and defensive workout will consist of 3 rounds of 5 for all hitters swinging metal/composite; all outfielders will throw from RF; all infielders will show from shortstop with the exception of 1B; and catchers will get 5 throws down to 2B. Last year we started at 9am and we anticipate doing the same this year - schedule to come ahead of event.

We heard the feedback from the college coaches who attended last year and are combining classes to put the D1 prospects against each other on August 6 and the D2, D3, NAIA, and JuCo prospects against each other on August 7. Pitchers will throw to 3 (if two-way player) or 6 (if PO) hitters and we anticipate that hitters will get 4-5 at-bats like last year. Plan on a 9am start for each of the days of gameplay as well.

Requests from college coaches to see pitchers throw to additional hitters will be accepted after confirmation from the pitcher that he is prepared to do so.

Technology / Data

We are planning on running a Trackman B1 unit during the showcase for BP and gameplay. College coaches will have immediate access. We will also be sharing objective measurables and summer stats on all participating players during the event.
