Thank you for your interest in
the award-winning documentary 'Democracy in Debt: Sri Lanka Beyond the Headlines', a film
supported by the Pulitzer Center and individual donations. The film, presented by the Southasia Peace Action Network and Sapan News, is
relevant beyond Sri Lanka. Read more details here.
The first-ever Global Community Screenings saw the film screened at some 40 venues in 14 countries across five continents in the run-up to the Sri Lanka presidential elections in September 2024 -- the outcome of which it predicted. It has since been translated and dubbed into Urdu by Nusrat Amin, head of Geomentary department at Geo TV, Pakistan, and into Sinhala by Priyantha Pradeep Ranasinghe in Colombo.
