Global community screenings-2 for  documentary 'Democracy in Debt: Sri Lanka Beyond the Headlines' (25 min)
Thank you for your interest in the award-winning documentary 'Democracy in Debt: Sri Lanka Beyond the Headlines', a film supported by the Pulitzer Center and individual donations. The film, presented by the Southasia Peace Action Network and Sapan News, is relevant beyond Sri Lanka. Read more details here.

The first-ever Global Community Screenings saw the film screened at some 40 venues in 14 countries across five continents in the run-up to the Sri Lanka presidential elections in September 2024 -- the outcome of which it predicted. It has since been translated and dubbed into Urdu by Nusrat Amin, head of Geomentary department at Geo TV, Pakistan, and into Sinhala by Priyantha Pradeep Ranasinghe in Colombo.

Two or more persons participating qualify as a community. To host an event, public or private, in your own area, fill in and submit this form at least 24 hours before your screening in order to receive the video linkIf you do not hear back within 24 hours, please email pragyaiimc@gmail.com with a cc to southasiapeaceactionnetwork@gmail.com.
