Introduction
2
The EUPR team has worked hard on improving the Tournament Tiering System (TTS) for 2025. Compared to the TTS used in 2024, we sought to reduce the amount of subjectivity required to rate the players and tournaments to a minimum, and designed a point system inspired by the one used by the OrionStats and LumiRank TTS’s.

Tournament Tiers
8
Tournaments are tiered S through D based on two factors: the amount of total entrants attending the event, and the combined total of players worth point values attending.
9
10
The point threshold for the respective tiers are the following:

Qualifying for the TTS
21
Events hosted in Europe can qualify through two methods: by clearing the minimum attendee threshold, or by being at least a C tier in value. The minimum attendee threshold varies per country, to adjust for the differences in activity levels in different countries.
22
23
24
Based on the region, a point multiplier is also applied to the attendee count. This will not affect points added from player point values.

Excluded Tournaments
36
Not all tournaments are considered for the European Power Rankings. Some examples of tournaments that are not eligible are:
37
38
- Tournaments hosted on weekly or bi-weekly basis
39
- Tournaments that are hosted as pre-locals for a bigger event
40
- Tournaments whose TOs have requested to be excluded from EUPR consideration before the start of the tournament
41
42
This list does not include all exceptions made and the EUPR team reserves the right to exclude tournaments deemed unfit by panelist discretion.

Point Values
46
The points that are used to determine an event's score are divided in 5 tiers: 40, 25, 15, 10, 5.
47
There are 3 categories that determine a player’s point value:
48
Category 1Their ranking on the EUPR
49
Category 2Placing high at tiered events
50
Category 3Their ranking in their own country
51
52
Players can obtain point values in multiple of these categories, in which case their highest one will be counted.
53
Category 1: Points from EUPR
54
The best players that compete in Europe should naturally contribute the most to how heavily a tournament should be weighted. Every player that was ranked gains a point value:

61
These point values last for one season, and change when a new EUPR is released.
62
Category 2: Placement Points
63
To make sure players’ values accurately reflect their skill, which can often see an improvement throughout a season, high placements at events tiered S through C will assign a point value to a player based on their performance.

70
71
All of these placement values are also listed on the TTS
72
These point values last for two seasons: the one it was achieved in, and the following season.
73
If a players point value increases, tournaments that they attended during the same season can be retiered accordingly.
74
Category 3: Points assigned to National Power Rankings
75
To make sure every country has players worth points to allow them to contribute to events hosted in said country, players were assigned point values based on every countries’ National Power Rankings. If a country did not have a PR that was updated in the past year, TOs from said country were contacted about who to list.
76
77
78
NB: If a country’s PR is outdated on the TTS and there is a new one, please contact alicelen on Discord or AliceLen2711 on Twitter
79
80
Players that already have a point value through being ranked in the Top 50 of the EUPR will not be counted for this category.
81
82
For the countries with the highest level of competition, the 5 highest ranked players are worth 10 points, and the 5 players after them are worth 5 points. These countries are all those that have 3 or more players representing them on the most recent EUPR. For other countries, the highest ranked player is worth 10 points, and the next 4 players are worth 5 points.
83
84
85
86
Player values in this category last until the PR is updated. However, unlike other categories, values after a PR change won’t be retroactively applied.
