NNERPP ANNUAL FORUM
Last week was a special week for the NNERPP community – it was Annual Forum week, and what’s more, it was our first in-person Forum since 2019! We gathered at NNERPP’s home base of Houston, Texas for the very first time in our history for three(ish) days of meeting old friends and making new ones and of learning together about all-things-RPP. This year's theme, "Seizing the Opportunity: The Role of RPPs in a Time of Political Conflict," reflected the growing influence politics continues to have on education in the U.S. Together, we reflected on and discussed how RPPs can / should / might navigate these changing tides. Our agenda also featured a number of other high-priority RPP topics. We had a fantastic time learning together and connecting as a community.
THANK YOU
We are deeply grateful for the participation and support of our attendees and feel honored that this amazing group of RPPers chose to share their time and wisdom with us. A special thank you goes to our fabulous presenters and facilitators and to our wonderful locals and NNERPP office neighbors, the Houston Education Research Consortium – thanks so much for your support!
We also would like to acknowledge the continuing support of our family of funders, without whom this event would not be possible: the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, William T. Grant Foundation, The Annie E. Casey Foundation, and The Wallace Foundation. And a very special thanks to our home, the Kinder Institute for Urban Research, who plays a critical role in making NNERPP possible.
