Written by a former White House insider, the book is fun and will familiarize our children with the first family, the Oval Office, and the Secret Service. The illustrations are vibrant and full of motion which will hold a child’s attention. I bought a copy for each of my great-nieces and great-nephews.

It also allowed us the chance to discuss the Presidential portraits being mentioned and other information about this historic home. The illustrations are darling and it was the right amount of text per page for my young readers.

The family's new puppy takes the reader on a tour of the White House, including famous real-life landmarks. My son and I are both fans of the rhymes, they make it great for reading out loud. The lovely watercolor illustrations are lively and bright. The children and the dog especially are so charming! It even includes facts about other famous canine residents of the White House!

Funny and laughable, this book should be in the home of all who have small children. The illustration is some of the best I've seen in a child's book in many years. I ordered a copy for my grandson and great nieces and nephew. I can't wait to read Wrigley's next adventure!
