Well, Noynoy Aquino won.

Let's hope he wont sleep on this country. Let's hope Noynoy Aquino will build something great once he dismantles what he wants to dismantle. Let's hope for unity. Let's hope those who have been chosen may endeavor to serve everyone, not just the few.

I hope Gibo and Gordon will run for public office and give more to our country. I hope Perlas will never stop being an activist. I hope JC Acosta will get more experience as a gov't official and retain his moral values. I hope Bro. Eddie will continue to teach.

I am hoping for the best. Life goes on.

Let's pick up the pieces and move forward.

To say that I am disappointed with the election results is an understatement. I am angry, dismayed and betrayed.

What is it with the voters in this nation? Why do voters believe in promises that are not even grounded in reality? Why do voters confuse "capability" with "capability for corruption" ? If you believe that shtik about the 'straight path', you better know where that 'straight path' is heading.

Noynoy, Villar and Erap are not even the best this country has to offer, and you f*cking vote for them?! GIBO is one of the best; so is GORDON -- even PERLAS.

Noynoy Aquino does not deserve to be the President of this country. Noynoy Aquino has nothing to offer. Noynoy Aquino has no accomplishments; Noynoy Aquino's track record is ABYSMAL; Noynoy Aquino gets paid just by posturing and Noynoy Aquino even SLEEPS on his job. Puro kababawan ang alam. He prioritizes his MEDIA WHORING before his JOB. Noynoy even needs cheat sheets when participating in forums. Yan ba ang taong kilala ang Pilipinas? The only reputable thing about him is he is Cory and Ninoy's son. Without Cory or Ninoy, sino si Noynoy?

Akala ko ba sawa na kayo sa kapalpakan ng gobyerno? Kung sawa na kayo, eh di mag-elect kayo ng magaling na leader, di leader na puro bola. Kung may pangako, dapat may plano. Eh anong gagawin ko sa 'matuwid na daan' na yan kung di nyo alam kung san papunta?

Sabi nyo malaki utang na loob ni Gibo kay Gloria, so tuta si Gibo ni Gloria. Eh malaki din naman utang na loob ni Noynoy kay Kris...so tuta din si Noynoy ni Kris? Gibo said: "I'll pay back everybody through good governance." What about Noynoy? He'll pay us back by going after corrupt people. What can Noynoy Aquino offer this country? Buti pa si GMA, maraming nagawa para sa economy naten kahit madumi ang gobyerno niya. Kung seryoso si Noynoy Aquino sa pagsupig sa corruption, nasan ang mga batas na sinulat nya? Nakikanta lang si Noynoy Aqunio sa inyo, kala niyo kaibigan niyo na siya!

Siguro nga hindi masamang tao si Noynoy Aquino *cough HACIENDA LUISITA*. Kaya ko rin sabihin na hindi masamang tao si GIBO, GORDON at PERLAS. Maraming nagawa si GIBO, GORDON at PERLAS para sa ating bayan, hindi niyo lang alam dahil kung anong isinubo sa inyo ng dyaryo at telebisyon, yun lang ang lulunukin ninyo... ANO NAGAWA NI NOYNOY AQUINO? Hindi nyo alam, kasi walang nagawa si Noynoy Aquino! Wala siyang napatunayan!

"Kung walang corrupt, walang mahirap." STOP DREAMING, Noynoy-ites. (STOP LYING, LIBERAL PARTY. STOP LYING, KRIS.) Akala nyo simple lang ang problema ng kahirapan? It's almost Monday. To those undecided and those voting for Noynoy:

Vote Noynoy? Think again.

You think he'll win . So why bother with elections? Ilagay na lang natin siya sa Malacanang.

Noynoy's records are untarnished. I will NOT sh*t sling so I've leave the stinky issues alone. If Noynoy followers really think Noynoy is 'walang bahid', then they haven't researched enough. Track record asan? What did Noynoy do with his pork barrel? The people paid him to pass laws; what did he do as a legislator?

Noynoy promised to end poverty by ending corruption. Darlings, if only poverty is as simple as that. You think that poverty is only caused by corruption? Dahil walang corrupt, walang mahirap? Even rich countries have poor people. Even his mother wasn't able to get rid of corruption. What laws did Noynoy pass to end corruption? What laws did he author so that COA will have sharper fangs? What laws did Noynoy author so there will be transparency from the National government to the LGUs? What laws did Noynoy author to ensure that the Ombudsman will remain nonpartisan? What laws did Noynoy author to protect the whistleblowers? What laws did he pass to penalize those found of being corrupt? We paid him to make laws to end corruption. What has Noynoy been doing? Now, if Noynoy is serious about ending corruption, tell me about his SPECIFIC plans on how he'll do this because all I hear is promises and no roadmap. Noynoy is not ready.

Noynoy is the son of Cory/Ninoy. Noynoy is a good person. (Gibo = GMA) This saddens me the most. You are not voting for Cory or Ninoy. You are not voting for GMA. Noynoy is his own man just like Gibo is his own man just like I am my own person and should not be judged by the friends I keep, the boss I worked for or the parents who gave birth to me. Look at Noynoy's track record, accomplishments and character and ask yourself why you're voting for this man. Noynoy is not Cory --please stop confusing yourself. Also, what's with Noynoy's mudfest campaigning? :(((

Noynoy = People Power. People Power belongs to the people. People Power happened because of PEOPLE coming together from all walks of live to end a bad government, not only because of Cory, Ninoy or Noynoy. Cory/Ninoy/noynoy HELPED make People Power a reality just like we did. Kung wala tayo, walang People Power.

Vote Villar? Think again.

Issues of corruption aside, Villar is a businessman (and is still a businessman). If he is the President, his businesses will thrive ... now, I'm not sure about his competition and the rest of the economy. Public Service is NOT for monetary profit.

Vote Erap? Think again.

Don't be fooled by his ads. What has Erap accomplished? Nilukluk na natin si Erap. Ipinakita na niya ang kanyang leadership. Hindi ito pumasa sa taong bayan.

Vote Gordon? Think hard.

To be fair, the Gordonites I've talked with (last night) know why they are voting for their candidate. Gordon has an impressive track record, has a strong political will and does not hesitate in looking for better solutions. He has built something that will last from his stint in Olongapo to wowphilippines. Gordon gave this country great things. I have nothing against Gordon except for his management style. If you want to know how it feels to have Gordon as a boss, then talk to Red Cross volunteers because they know first hand what Gordon has been doing. Red Cross volunteers are not too happy with Gordon.

Vote GIBO. Think.

GMA's time is ending. Vote for Gibo and you put this man in office, not GMA. This is the kind of man I think we need:

A leader who will put people before himself. Best example: He left his father's wake just to bring relief goods..

A leader who respects people (even his opponents), focuses on what's good in people and is respected and ADMIRED even by his opponents.

A leader who DOES NOT PROMOTE VENGEANCE, but UNITY..

A leader who knows my country, its many problems and has specific plans on how to solve them. (7:11)

Election is almost upon us. I've already told my friends and family about this man, so now it's time to eljay -- yay!!!

I don't want another People Power. And I certainly don't like a Presidentiable endorsing it as if People Power belongs to his family or it's the solution to some political problems. We have taken down 2 governments with that miracle. Jeezus, haven't we had enough already?we need to build something good. And for that we need the best man/woman for the job.

I don't want a President who keeps talking about ideals, but has done nothing. I don't want a President who is a businessman at heart. I don't want a President who has already tasted Presidency, but misused his powers. I don't want a President who believes spirituality or the belief in God will solve all of our problems. I don't want a President who believes too much in himself and has occasionally stopped respecting people. I don't want a President who is a good man at the core, but is untried in governance.

I'm rooting for the Guy who:

quietly did his very difficult job, never made a show out of it and never pointed fingers even when people deemed him a scapegoat

He swam the 'sea of garbage' just to get to his office + there was zero posturing during rescue operations.

has never thrown mud at anyone in his bid for presidency

admitted he made mistakes and moved on/believes in studying and thinking about it before giving an opinion

broke free from the powerful politician who mentored him and "owned" him

he is a Conjuangco and he left Danding Cojuangco to be his own man

has his eyes on this country and not on the clouds

This man is not the perfect Presidentiable (damn that big tie to GMA). But with all the mudslinging and the self-entitlement going around, he remained humble. Even his opponents have good things to say about him. So, idk. Seems that G1BO for President is logical.

Yup, this is the HK pic spammish post.

Weird things made of gold.
Since a lot of people in HK are rich, they thought it would be a good idea to make lucky charms/feng shui equipment out of gold, just for fun. Hence, the lucky fortune fan! Not designed to keep you cool, but to give you luck and "the money money money."

And since it's terribly inconvenient carrying this big-o fan, they make fortune fan rings and pendants. Just bang the ring/pendant against your hand and it turns just like a fan :| We also found ridiculously expensive Disney collectibles. Mickey Junk below costs 136,000 HKD.

Epic Cable Cars.
Cable Cars are always Epic due to Epic Views and the Epic funny feeling in your stomach. Epic Views are sometimes accompanied by hypothetical discussions of Epic cable car malfunction. Epic Views will make you believe such discussions are entertaining.

Pics could have been better, but someone warned someone else for changing seats because it might upset the balance of the car and lead to our doom. The roller coaster is built on the same side of the mountain, so yeah.

Things I learned and relearned the hard way: :D

1. Nothing goes according to plan...EVER.
1a) Our plane farted something stinky-burning inside the cabin, so I had to wait and speculate about the wisdom of getting tickets from this particular airline. After the waiting and speculating, the pilot announced the engine had a technical issue and told us to transfer to another plane.
1b) Some competent personnel at the travel agency neglected to inform the hotel of the time of arrival. Oscar, the very ~~nice~~ civil hotel employee, kindly told us to waste away in their very comfortable wooden seats for 2 hours.
1c) Mum hated crowds = I didn't get to eat street foods. But, it was okay because she dragged us to a nice quiet diner.

2. Packaged tours SUCK. It's less expensive, but you can't properly enjoy a site because you're hassled from one place to another.

3. 7/11s will save your life when you're dying of hunger and you discover all the restaurants near your lousy hotel are closed.

4. Not everybody speaks English x1000000. Some people will pretend you don't exist while you pretend they're slightly deaf. Some people are kind enough to get a Chinese map and let you point. Ordering food is hilarious; some people who take your order don't speak English and don't know the English version of the menu.

5. Water is expensive. A liter and a half is 12 HKD. DD: The price of food is relatively okay.

6. Taking the City Tour and going to Disneyland on the same day is idiotic.

Okay, maybe not. The tablet functions and the eraser tip work fine; the pen tip does not. I replaced plastic tip and it's still dead. Updating the drivers didn't work too. 01: I asked for a recommendation; so I got it. You know who you people are 8)
02: There doesn't seem to be enough fanfics, so it's hard to stay glued. I get a dose every now and then.
03: Season2 Episode 8 obviously. The combination of crossdressing, waltz, stalking and eyesex makes a fangirl inebriated. Also, Season 2 ending for the nakedness.
04: Nah. I'm useless.
05: If you like mecha-anime, pretty boys, mental sex and epilepsy-inducing visuals. Go~!

Hikaru no Go
01: It was Hikaru's weird hair that got me into Hikago. Then, chapter 1 owned me.
02: I'm not as rabid as I was before; there are many good writers in Hikago, so it's hard to stay away.
03: The May 5 chapter (which makes me cry whenever I remember) and the last chapter of the manga.
04: Barely. But, this fandom got me into manga coloring.
05: YES YES YES YES YES! There are *no* superpowers, evil villains, items you have to collect, the usual shit you find in a manga. Beat that! It's an interesting story about a boy and a ghost who gets tied together, ~~and they save the world through Igo~~ connects through a game of Igo, and connects with others...well, yeah. Lamest summary ever for something totally epic. It's worth what little time you have. 8D

Sherlock Holmes
01: Mostly everyone (when they haven't realized what obsession is) got a bit of Sherlock Holmes, I think. The inevitable reexposure came about when I was downloading audiobooks. The complete Sherlock Holmes series was available for ganking → so, I ganked → John Telfer's performance took over my brains → now, I'm more demented than ever → and all is good.
02: Like Hikago, the fic writers here are doing an excellent job at feeding my addiction.
03: For the sacred writings of Doyle, it's hard to pick favorites since I love most of them. I guess the first chapter of all chapters, when Watson meets Holmes, is wonderful to reread ~~and parody~~. The Empty House for the drama and ~~the possible promise of illegal smex~~. Mwehehehehe!
04: I lurk/comment.
05: Well, you know what I'm going to say. They are the original-original bromance; COME TO VICTORIAN ENGLAND WHERE HOMOSEXUALITY IS OR WAS ILLEGAL! xDDDD

Hentai, the Japanese pornographic cartoon that depicts children in explicit sexual activity, is considered child pornography material and one may be severely penalized by just mere possession of it. [→ please consult wiki entry on Hentai.]

A bill banning this pornographic cartoon was approved recently by the Joint House Committees on Justice and Welfare of Children chaired by Rep. Matias Defensor (3rd District, Quezon City) and Rep. Monica Prieto-Teodoro (1st District, Tarlac), respectively.

Prieto-Teodoro, one of the authors of the measure, said the bill penalizes the offenders who sell, offer, advertise, and promote child pornography; and have been found to possess, download, purchase, reproduce, or make available child pornography materials with the intent of selling or distributing them. Prieto-Teodoro said child pornography material refers to the means and methods in which a child carries out pornography.

"It can be in forms of visual depiction, audio representation and written text or materials that advocate explicit sexual activity with a child," Prieto-Teodoro said. [→ BS]

She explained that the said images of real and indistinguishable children in films, digital images or computer images, whether made or produced electronically or mechanically; drawings, cartoons, sculptures or paintings depicting children in an explicit sexual activity are just some of the visual depictions considered as child pornography materials. Prieto-Teodoro said there is a need for a legislative measure to address this disturbing social phenomena considering that the provisions of RA7160 or the Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act are mainly related to child prostitution and do not provide adequate protection to victims of other forms of sexual exploitation particularly child pornography.

Rep. Darlene R. Antonino-Custodio (1st District, South Cotabato) another author of the bill to be known as the "Anti-Child Pornography Act of 2009", said the Internet which is used for gaining knowledge is being used by some as a medium to gratify sexual desire.

"Once the picture of child victim is flashed either on the Internet or video clip, the picture is open for the entire world to see. The child loses his or her privacy and innocence which can never be restored," Antonino-Custodio said.

"Adults indulging in child pornography either by purchasing, viewing or producing them, should be subjected to the most severe punishments,"Antonino-Custodio said.

Under the bill, child pornography refers to any representation of a child below 18 years of age, engaged in real or simulated explicit sexual activities or any representation of the sexual parts of a child primarily for sexual purposes.

The bill provides that the mere possession of drawings, cartoons, digital images, computer-generated images -- even if it is indistinguishable from that of real children engaging in an explicit sexual activity – may be penalized with 6 to 12 years imprisonment and a fine of not more than P500,000.

The measure also imposes 12 to 20 years imprisonment and a fine of not more than P2 million to violators who have been found guilty of committing unlawful acts such as hiring, employing, using, persuading, inducing, or coercing a child to perform in the production of child pornography, including its production people. Hetalia: 11/??. Need for Ep 12 sub is excruciating. Banned anime is made of good stuff. Great anime for history dorks who get to be dorks without the depression.

K-on: 2/??. This is SO easy to watch. Top notch animation. Fanservice annoys the heck out of me, but I'm willing to take it in this case. To save a music club, you'll need sweets, mind reading and great teamwork. ^0^d It's the kind of anime that leaves you with a fluffy/good feeling.

East of Eden: 1/??. Watching this after K-on and Hetalia may have not been the best idea. Ye, the first ep is funny enough, but that memory wipe and missile attack is all SRSNESS.

I JUST FOUND THE BEST ONLINE GAME EVER (well, this month): JAMLEGEND DSAJKFLDAJFKDJA . It's so addictive I flipped my keyboard ala guitar mode and forgot I was supposed to marathon House. Also, try your hand/fingers at Canon Rock Skilled Guitar. It's TOTALLY PSYCHOTIC.

And I feel like my left wrist might be Carpal's newest victim, so I'm going to do something useless, like fix my tags.

I'M A RETARD...OR AN AUTISTIC. . I hate all these friending drama with LJ's structure and all, but HAAAAAY if someone added you out of nowhere, and you have absolutely no idea how to connect to that person behind the LJ, you just need a LITTLE help. A message such as "I just added you randomly. I do not live in your city therefore we can read each other's sekkrits without exploding in paranoia." or "I think your insanity is favorable every now and then, but I'm not interested in your life, ty." The NTC (not usually this stupid) wants to require content licensing for posting/publishing online content, applications and even information. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLOLOLOLOLOL. It's a great blueprint proposal for a failboat.

I promised myself I will not watch the Dragonball monster that is Naruto Shippuden (manga is enuf) but when I saw this opening (t 0 t), shitz, I'll watch everything even the fillers. =.=; The Akatsuki vs. Konoha sequences in the opening were so smooth. So, I promptly watched an episode (Kakuzu-Hidan Arc) and I was blown away. (* 0 *)♥ The sequences were taken from the episodes, and not really made for the opening, so you can find the same graphic quality in the episodes as in the opening.

OMG, it looks soo good. The number of frames is fantastic; the graphics are v. crisp and you can see teh CG hand of miracles. But, what is really impressive is that the camera is working on a whole new level (those rotating, pulling, panning, zooming shots) combined with A+ graphics makes it so *PRETTY*. And it should look pretty; By this time, the studio is already swimming in money.

"Je suis loser." I just discovered, like an hour ago, than you can do these shit in SAI:
1. Change the texture of the canvas.

2. And ink like a manga pro... (well, sort of)

→ I created a vector layer, then used the pen tool to doodle.

→ The Weight Tool adjusts the thickness of your lines; references the brush size.

→ With the Pressure Tool, you can adjust the pressure (duur) of your vector lines. Pick a Vector point / dot whatevs you want, then click + drag to the right (to increase pressure) or click + drag to the left (to decrease pressure):
