Clive the cat missing

today, it started like no other

not a sound , did Clive the cat utter

searched up and down

he’s not to be found

looked outside , in the trees

even got down , on my knees

around in the bushes

in flowers he pushes

stumbling with worry

I go through the door

what do i see , rolling on the floor

Clive was scrubbing , itching his back

I bent on over to give him a snack

he jumped as my hand , made a big smack

Clive the cat , upon my nose did whack

my day as a mime

fighting the dark my evil isn’t out

lack of purpose , make’s me shout

strolling through memory’s all lined in gold

frustrating me now , future’s on hold

moods are all calm , but sense’s are high

healing and learning can’t all be implied

sickness has plagued , my sickness swells

the devil is in me , I’m under his spells

this monster will lose , sure to take time

up to this point I’ll act like a mime

blinders come on , tunnel vision strikes

light disappears with no day in site

minutes ago planning things very small

now can’t remember one thing at all

breathing irregular , wont straighten out

heartbeat gains speed, follows it’s route

closing the door don’t want to be seen

forgetting the world , all that demean

concentration is lost , bad feelings reign

guessing , confusion is all that remains

today’s uncertainty clouds the blue sky

overcast with storms , flying on by

tunnel now open the blinders lowered

thoughts from before all now remembered

This poem is for the continued prayers for Scott , Ellen and family

It flashes a long the blacken sky

as kids we saw , we wondered why

it looks real fast but such is life

it acts so slow , while deep in strife

we hate , we love , getting over the hard

life being sharp and brittle as shards

we grovel in pain when others are gone

visit their graves , a small piece of lawn

I turn to the sky , for Gods mystique

when lightning strikes others are weak

for others I love , lightnings lifelong

for them that I pray for us to be strong

flickering lights follow the frontiers path

heavenly music coming from a dot in the sky

there in the trees , a wandering eye

calm is replaced with the blizzard like wind

flashes of light hitting the ground

running water is heard like a water fall crashing

a single hit to the fleshy white nap of the neck

falling , things go black

looking down there he is , wait

That’s me

laying lifeless while I float away

we summon our strength ,

for those so weak

the doors slam shut ,

not even a squeak

the younger it seems ,

they are beginning to go

I think there’s something ,

you and I should know

we sit and we wait ,

with nothing but hope

our love one’s we see ,

are trying to cope

just want you to know

the prayers that we show

we hope you feel well as soon as you can Scott….We are still in your corner as you’re in our thought s…God bless

Pam loved Pete they had it made

two little boys both named Wade

traveled the country in a big R V

so many sights the family did see

never setting roots like many we know

they moved around more than an Indians toe

learning from the world and mom and dad

soaking up nature , even lily pads

living a life that can’t be surpassed

the two little wades , one day asked

do you regret the things you let slide

to be with us on this life long ride

dad turned to them a tear in his eye

wade and wade your both my prize

I’d relive these days with out delay

two wade’s grinning said happy fathers day

My nights are shallow , need to make that leap

I fight all night , but still can’t sleep

Next thing I know my mind is screaming

Feels so real , but I think I’m dreaming

When I think my dreams come unsurpassed

I’m dreaming again , about my past

Thoughts of things , wont go away

Buried til I sleep , then they play

I wake to hair and pillow all wet

Then my dreams they all reset

This post was prompted by Anne , she gave me this idea…Thanks Anne This sounds funny to most , but there are days I don’t feel up to going outside or even be around others . Today is one of those days …things are getting better by the day still . My recovery is a long road , I am in full motion .

Sundays view from a window

I sit here staring at this blank screen

I turn to my window , nature’s sea’s of green

The grass freshly cut , odor real strong

bird’s in there nests , all singing new songs

The house that I see , I sit and I stare

the roof that’s so old , its showing it’s wear

Clive the cat walking , looking so proud

he yawls at my mom , lord he’s so loud

my windows secure at night or in rain

somehow when it’s open it lets out my pain

bushes are swinging , the wind spins around

wow how I do , love the winds sound

so at least for today , it’s inside that I’ll play

from time to time , look my windows way

For my windows there to let in the light

But also without it , I’d lose half my sight .

tears roll softly for someone close

the thoughts and feelings to expose

unwanted illnesses and death

these words don’t ease the wrath

fighting battles that are never won

thinking tomorrow will never come

our prayers and wishes are with you

Tonight I will be praying for my cousins husband , His name is Scott He has cancer and he’s not ready to go …Please take one minute and say a short prayer for him . Scott and Ellen we all love and support you and your family . god bless you both …Tim
