Getting Started

First steps to start booking with the Time Slot WordPress plugin by adding your timezone, currency and company information

  1. Set date and time

On the Time Slot general settings page, configure a few date and time settings for your booking form. These fields will also apply to your WordPress general settings.

Set your timezone by selecting a city name, rather than a UTC offset, to ensure accurate scheduling. Then choose your preferred date and time formats, and select which day of the week the date picker should start on. When you’re finished, click the Save Changes button to apply your settings.Time Slot date and time settings

The Time Format setting is also available on the WordPress General settings page. If you choose to change the setting there, Time Slot accepts the following time format strings:

aLowercase am and pmam or pm
AUppercase AM and PMAM or PM
g12-hour format of an hour, without leading zeros1 to 12
G24-hour format of an hour, without leading zeros0 to 23
h12-hour format of an hour, with leading zeros01 to 12
H24-hour format of an hour, with leading zeros00 to 23
iMinutes with leading zeros00 to 59

Note: The back slash (\) before a letter will print that character instead of translating it into a time string. These literal characters do not work with Time Slot. For example, G\hi will print 19h00 and will not work, but h:ia will print 7:00pm and this does work.

Set your currency

Also in the Time Slot settings on the Payment Gateways page, select your site currency and click the Save Changes button. This will automatically configure prices with symbols, if available, and thousand and decimal separators.
