My son is 12, I don’t really mind too much what he views on the internet or
what he chooses to install on his PC, as such he has an Administrator account.
The last version of Time Boss works good after all W10 updates,
additionally it has many features - forced breaks, time limitation of websites...
So i recommend to try it.
Timeboss pro quit working after the trial period ended even after purchasing it and entering the key. I couldn't get any support until I demanded a refund. Then they fixed that problem.
Then I upgraded to Windows 10 and again it quit working and again I couldn't get any support for it. They can be helpful, but also can be completely nonresponsive.
After the most recent Windows update, Time Boss Pro stopped working. The control panel for the program would not open and settings could not be changed. I had to completely restore my sons computer(W8.1) in order to regain control of it.

Additionally, you can connect to kids PC remotely from your PC and you can change kids remaining time, check kids screenshots and logs.
I think, that build-in parent control in Win is far from perfection,
so I’d recommend you to use a separate program with many features. I use Time Boss Pro.
It is not visible (if you don’t wanna see it), it allows not only to block, but to reduce time of use for certain sites. It works with Explorer only, but it’s cool.
