Can anyone recommend their favourite Bernard finding out or is surpisicous fics? I especially like the ones where Bernard questions Tim about his injuries (mainly because all robins must have faced this at some point).

Please let me know if this isn't allowed and I'll delete it.

And finally updated the Bernard fic directory! a bunch of fic that was posted here is now on it, plus all the comment_fic Bernard/Tim fic I could find. Give it a check and see if there's anything you've missed, or I've missed, or anything at all! Comment fics were titled by the prompt and given a rating I made up, so tell me if you want a different title or rating for yours and I'll change it.

Also write some Tim/Bernard so I can update the list.

Do people want another challenge or anything? November's NaNoWriMo, and there are a few billion gift exchanges in December, but it'd be nice to do something. What do people think?

Shana and I were talking yesterday about what new fic/art challenge we could have for this community. After determining that there were more than enough porn challenges this summer and that no one but me wanted to write about Dinosaurs, we decided to put the subject matter of the next challenge to a vote.

We came up with five different options for you guys. Please read over the options and vote for the choice you want to read and/or write.

Options

1. Fic Exchange

For this option we will spend two weeks taking fic requests. Then we will put up a list of all the requests. Participants will have a further month to claim and write a request. People who make a request are strongly encouraged to fulfill one as well. It’s not required but it’s the nice thing to do.

2. Future Fic Challenge

You’ll never guess whose idea this was. Anyway, this one is pretty straight forward. Participants write a fic taking place anywhere from a few months to a few years into the future of current canon. Plot lines, story length and content are up to the writer.

3. Cross-Community Challenge

The idea behind this challenge is to work together with another community to write fics that would span both coms. For example, if tim_bernard did a cross com challenge with ttk_is_hot both coms would receive the same prompts and the participant would attempt to fulfill the prompts using Tim, Bernard and Kon in the fic. Prompts will be given, however story length and plot lines are up to the writer.

4. Super Bernard!

In this challenge the participants will write a story that involves Bernard having some form of super power. Plot lines and length will be up to the writer.

5. Red Robin Challenge

In this challenge participants will throw our darling Bernard into the Red Robin storyline. Plot lines, content and length will be up to the writers.

Now that that’s out of the way I’d also like to note that we are a SMALL community. Less than fifty members. I think a little less than half of us are writers and only about two of us write Tim/Bernard more than once or so a year. We’re excited, nay eager, for some new blood around here. So if you’re a luker, or a member who just likes to read, we encourage you to participate in this challenge. We’re a friendly and supportive bunch.

As for the rest of you writers, give our boys some love!

Also, we’re looking for banner makers. Drop Shana or I a line if you’re interested in helping us out.
