And the last little while I've been feel this...weird urge to write. That's weird, yeah? I haven't felt that in...oh a couple of years. So I'm trying this fandom thing again. And I toyed around with setting up a new journal from scratch but I don't want to do that, I don't want to risk losing the people on this journal that I still like/miss.

I feel like I've made this post a few times now and it's always followed by ages of silence. So, sticking strictly with fandom stuff.

I have a couple other works in progress. One is actually finished and just needs major editing. Another I hope to have posted in December as a Christmas fic! They are Matt Murdock/Steve Rogers and Steve Rogers/Tony Stark. Yes, I am obsessed with Steve, go figure. Blame chlare for that one.

Would anyone out there be willing to beta read on occasion for me?

Also, does anyone have any good suggestions for fans and communities that I should be following?

Saw Guardians of the Galaxy again this weekend. Second time, wanted to see it once more before it left theaters.

I literally cannot stop thinking about it. It is SO MUCH BETTER the second time around.

Someone please save me, this is actual obsessive levels of "Omg, Peter Quill" and if this doesn't stop immediately there is going to be some very weird angel!Peter/Castiel fic involved (don't ask) (but come on, Peter's mom says his father was an 'angel' and the Nova Corp lady says he was an 'ancient being'). Or there will be Peter/Clint because if Clint wasn't around during all the Winter Soldier stuff it could only have been an alien abduction.

Also, why is there so much Peter/Rocket fic?

One more question... If you had to choose between the Iron Man or Hawkeye comics, which would you choose? (spoiler: I am leaning towards Iron Man and rather flabbergasted at myself)

Polo and I have apparently decided to try and go to the Supernatural convention in Toronto in October.

I don't know why I am even still on Creation's email list, usually I just delete their emails when I see them without really registering and certainly, I don't click. I can't afford conventions these days! But I happened to click on this one and now, boom, we're going. Just for the Saturday so we can see Misha Collins. She wants to get a picture with him, I don't (because I already have one) so we'll get one together.

I still don't understand why they don't have a Castiel/Gabriel photo op. I've said this before, I would pay for this. And it's not like the actors aren't there on the same day, come on, Creation!

That being said...there are three expo's all coming up very rapidly. Canadian National expo, Fan expo, and the Reptile Breeders expo. Because we're broke, we're only going to the first one (CNE). But apparently we're not too broke for Misha, go figure. I'm sure we'll have time to save up for that. *cross fingers*

Has anyone been to a recent-ish Supernatural Creation con? Do they do the cheap drinks? The purple nurples and...I don't remember the other one they had when I went.

Hey, you guys remember when (about two years ago) I asked for some Avengers drabble prompts? Yeah. I took five prompts. Here's the first drabble fill which I actually did ages ago and just found (I am thinking of filling the other four). ;)

This one is for chlare, who wanted Clint, Tony and Bruce having roommate growing pains/grocery shopping together/ect.

Went to Toronto yesterday and ended up at Silver Snail comics. Had a close run in with a totally drool worthy Daryl Dixon bust (my god, I want it, I want it, I want it, it will look so very good next to my Hawkeye bust). But I did end up going home with the first 5 issues of the new ongoing Serenity comic.

So. Very. Good.

Pretty sure I was hooked in from page one. It's just got that Serenity feel to it and ( Spoiler TagCollapse )

I've only read the first one so far. Will get the rest in tomorrow perhaps.

The art claims for the Avengers reverse big bang are up to look at... But there are no pairings of real interest to me so looks like I will be passing again this year. Rats!

Am I the only one who would just love a Clint/Tony exclusive fic exchange? Yes? Aww...

How big is the Avengers fandom? Like on a scale from... Firefly to Supernatural, where would Avengers lay?

He's the reason I was hurrying down the road at midnight on Thursday night in my pyjamas to the Shoppers Drug Mart to get a bottle of peroxide so he'd throw up the pieces of the black (for extreme chewers) kong that he ate. It was the last toy he was allowed to have. Now he has no toys. :( Unless we are playing fetch or I am otherwise interacting with him 100%, of course.

Really just here to announce my intentions of participating in the Avengers Reverse Big Bang because if I say it I'll do it. So I'm saying it. This is me saying it. Unless there is no art that inspires me when it gets revealed. Artists, please put up some Clint/Tony, I guarantee I will write that. ;)

Just spent literally the entire day watching Scrubs. I said I would do something productive before going to bed. This counts, right?
