Expert Design
Our secret sauce is in our custom in-house LED lighting designs which are developed by our experienced electricians. Most electrical contractors often outsource lighting designers to spec lights. Typical designers only offer a one-for-one swap and often select incorrect lights due to a lack of electrical and product knowledge. We are constantly researching and testing LED technology so that Thrive only offers the best and newest lighting technology.
Our custom lighting designs are included in all lighting quotes. Often, we will try to reduce the number of fixtures where we can, this way you save on project costs and experience even greater energy savings.
Selecting the right light
Not all lights are created equal! At Thrive Electrify, we are electricians and see a lot of LEDs, so we know what makes a good fixture and what doesn’t.
1. Quality
Many consumers are driven by initial price and unknowingly purchase low quality lights, not realizing that they will ultimately cost much more in the long run. Low quality LED lights may have some or all of these characteristics:

Flickering

Shifting of the original lighting colour (Ex. purple, orange, yellow)

Shorter lifespans with only 25,000-50,000 hour ratings

Lights start to dim from the original light output in only 1 – 5 years

A portion of the LED chip board fails

The light has completely failed much earlier than its expected life
2. Longevity
At Thrive, we believe in installing lights that will stand the test of time. With the latest advances in LED technology, we can offer fixtures with ratings up to 280,000 hours. This would be equivalent to over 30 years of use if you were to operate the lights 24 hours a day. Even after 280,000 hours of use, the light will not just burn out, but will still operate at 70% of its initial light output. We call this a “lifetime installation”.
3. Efficiency
Energy is being burned per second and so if you care about money, every single Watt matters! A quality LED fixture will be more efficient than a less expensive version. Utilizing efficient fixtures is crucial in warehouses since hundreds of lights are often left on for extended periods of time. The cumulative energy consumption of hundreds of fixtures over their lifetime results in a substantial waste of energy and money with an inefficient system.

Correct Installation
It is important to correctly install LED lights as proper installation guarantees optimal performance, delivering the desired energy savings, brightness, and lifespan. Conversely, incorrect installation may result in problems such as flickering, reduced lifespan, decreased energy efficiency, leading to increased costs and maintenance requirements.
Warranty
Thrive will stand by you even after the installation is complete. We live up to our warranty guarantees. Our LED lighting retrofits come with an unbeatable 5 or 10 year warranty which includes labor and materials to replace or repair any lights that may require attention during that time. Our LED retrofit installations historically have less than a 1% failure rate, while we have seen numerous failures some up to 25% after just one year.
