Liberals hate Trump because he exposes the rotten aspects of a system and order that they were comfortable with before.

He makes them uncomfortable. He disturbs their peace. He makes it harder for them to ignore contradictions that would inevitably come to a head. They were perfectly fine with American evil as long as it was done with professionalism and decorum, as long as it didn't force them to confront or even merely witness the realities of their own politics.

But this has already been said in so many ways.
