It’s crystal clear now that Trump has lost control of this war. He badly misjudged Iran’s ability to retaliate. The region is on fire.

1/ I’m going to explain to you in this🧵what I’ve learned - in part from closed door briefings - about the four biggest current crises. 2/ CRISIS ONE: Trump believed Iran would not close the Strait of Hormuz. He was wrong. And now oil prices are spiking.

Democrats MUST insist on a vote on an Authorization of Military Force (an AUMF) for Trump’s war in Iran.

Welcome to the revolution". He beat officers with a wooden pole, tasered an officer in the neck causing a heart attack.

Trump will do anything to distract from the Epstein scandal and high prices.

But that's illegal - because it would give Nexstar control of stations in nearly half the country. FCC rules prohibit ONE company from having THAT much control over local TV content.

The murder of Charlie Kirk could have united Americans to confront political violence. Instead, Trump and his anti-democratic radicals look to be readying a campaign to destroy dissent.
