In late 2018 I set up a [matrix] server to chat with friends and let anyone join. Since then I've added many more services that are free to use and run on libre software! SearxNG
A customizable metasearch engine. Choose how your search works and which engines it uses. Does not keep logs or track users. Source code

Mastodon
Part of a federated micro-blogging network. Share with and follow users from all across the Fediverse. Supports up to 500 characters and small media attachments. Source code
Gitea
An easy to use alternative to GitHub. Create an account or login with your existing GitHub or GitLab account to host and manage your public or private repositories! Includes wiki functionality and an advanced API. Source code
Opengist
A shiny replacement for GitHub Gists that integrates with Gitea. Login with your existing account on Joe's Gitea and create shareable code snippets. Source code
PrivateBin
A minimalist, client-side encrypted pastebin. The server never sees the contents of your pastes. Offers password protection, comments, markdown, syntax highlighting, and one time use pastes. Source code
