Pilgrimage. It’s a hard word to take in. Didn’t the Pilgrimers go out in the Middle Ages? A little old-fashioned, then. Not to mention the very word, Pilgrimers, conjures sights of religious travelers in odd-looking garb. Lots of robes and medieval wear come to mind. Toss in a few religious items and saintly relics, and the picture is complete. But this is the 21st Century, after all. What does pilgriming look like? Seeking. Preparing, arriving. Returning. There is something elusive in the journey toward insights, whether personal or spiritual. Have you ever considered becoming a mystic? Pilgrimage is only the start. Look up at the night stars. Put one foot in front of the other. Carry your pack and a walking stick. Take it all in, the sky, the Earth.Take it all in, these are the instructions.
