Had I made a bet on who appeared in front of MC was gonna be I'dve lost it. I had thought that it was someone of Kuro's, possibly grumpy cause of his chat with Machi.

Also would've lost a bet on the reveal of Lilith's appearance. Though I don't recall them being described, I kinda pictured them being more visibly older than they were. MC said it best with how he thought she'd be lol.

Yeah, as I had said, I wasn't even aware of the change and removal until you said it at the start of this comment chain. As far as I knew it was the same as when I played. So your issue with me not commenting or offering feedback on the removal or its replacement is far more "pointless".

This is just as "pointless" because you make it sound as though the feedback was meant for the average user or fan of the game.  It wasn't. Though, I'm sure some people would want to know whether or not there's SA (or worse) scenes in the game before they had gotten attached to the characters and/or story.

Regardless of whether or not people in general know about it, KS does. That's what matters here. If they were confused or unsure as to whether I had meant the new or old scene, or if they wanted additional detail as to what I meant they could ask for clarification, which would happily be provided.

For what it's worth, I had held my comment until the official release as I did not wish to spoil anything. Even then I attempted to keep it vague and wasn't aware of the change until you had said what the scene now was.

But for argument sake, because they changed it, that means they're immune to feedback on it? Surely that's not what you're suggesting, right? That's a very silly argument to be making if so.

Sure, if that's what the scene originally was then it'd be whatever. It originally was a SA scene involving her, Ayase and MC.

Not gonna lie, I've such mixed feelings. Although it was pretty hype to see the update had dropped, wasn't thrilled after that scene with Noa.

I, for one, mostly hope you don't. On one hand, I can't get enough of this story so.. On the other hand smaller chapters would possibly come out quicker but they wouldn't be as large.

Question for this, since latest release stuff would be spoilers, would we leave feedback and such on Discord as well or would commenting in "Chapter # now live!" posts be alright? Only ask as I had noticed in the main page the disclaimer about spoiler stuff being better left on Discord.

This on its own is huge and a must have now tbh. Didn't really have an issue for characters just being in your face when you entered a location, but actually seeing them doing something... It's pretty night and day.

Honestly, as counter-intuitive as it seems, sometimes the best thing you can do is step away from whatever you're working on for a break and come back with a fresh mind and set of eyes.

The number of times where I've done that and returned to whatever I was doing and just "...Oh. Duh" after returning... Always after the wall has thoroughly tenderized my head and I throw in the towel because I never learned my lesson, of course

It'd be nice if there was a way to track the path to an ending. For example, if I right clicked on a point in someone's event chain the choices to get to that point would be highlighted

It is nice that the knowledge pool is larger than just Uraha, though. In hindsight, it did kinda make it seem like she held all the cards and keys available.

I knew the acronyms for things would be funny but I'm somehow always unprepared for them. Machi saying how she hadn't been in contact with SECS in a long time, Kuro talking about keeping POOP at bay. Maybe I'll grow up in 2026 cause I evidently haven't in 2025.

It's a bit of a bummer, sure, but real life comes first. Especially as far as health is concerned. It can make the difference between something being delayed, as opposed to not being released at all.

Don't mind me, just killing space because Itch decided to give us plenty of formatting options but somehow forgot to include one for spoilers. So now I have to yap about the fact that its missing in order to avoid spoiling people. I mean, honestly.

Surely a site that hosts thousands upon thousands of games where there are story elements or puzzles or whathaveyou would think that'd be kind of important to have, right? But noooo. I suppose you could disable formatting in your options and manually format stuff to get a spoiler box thing but that's a lot of effort. And don't even get me started on there being no "Preview post" option, either! You get assholes like me who sit here yapping only to find out they're a line or two short so they sit there editing their post three or four times to get it juuuust right to avoid spoilers.

Wow, you weren't kidding... I had remembered this game and downloaded it again expecting there to be more to see since it had been a year and a half since I played.

No, it was quite the opposite. Downloaded the version available here on Itch and it was muuuch closer to what I remember and less of a mess. Don't think it'll have much new content since it's only barely older than I last played, but still. Better than less content than when I last played.

As much as I'm not opposed to remaking/reworking/revamping/(whatever you wanna call it) your content, there's an expectation that at least some aspects would be better... None of them seemed to be, and that's just super disappointing

Ohhh no. I haven't played for like... a smidge over 2 years. I wanted to check out all that I missed (and boy does it seem like there's been a lot!), but I'm now side tracked by the card rarities and trying to collect them all. What have you done lol

Look, maybe things were rushed in one way or another, and maybe things could have been better in some places. But, honestly, I think this was a valuable lesson for you in a number of ways. It's better to have had this experience early on so you can better handle and work with/around or to even maybe avoid the same things in the future.

Am hoping so cause I'm trying the game out again and would like to leave my feedback and any bugs I encounter someplace out of the way.

General feedback:

Instead of colored dots on the fast travel to indicate who is present at a location, it'd be nice if we instead used a little image of the person like in our phone contacts Speaking of phones, it's a little weird that right after the tutorial we have our phone's wallpaper set as Hayami when we haven't really interacted with her much (yet!).

Also, for some reason, we have Kioko's contact info right after the tutorial? No clue who she is as we haven't met her yet, and when attempting to talk to Akane in the staff room we're instructed to complete Kioko's first event. When we study with Kioko in the morning it's a regular study event, but when we find her in the afternoon it's as though they haven't interacted in a while. Makes me feel like our first interaction with her is meant to be in the School Library and not in the classroom.

When texting people it'd be nice if options we can't select yet were grayed out or something. For example, if I don't have enough points (or haven't seen the event) to take Hayami out on a date then the option to ask her via text would be grayed out. It's kind of weird that the option isn't there when you text them on the weekend, though.

Minor issues I had noticed:

For some reason when browsing the shop on MC's computer, when you visit the XXX section our money turns into "Pejecoins" but everywhere else it remains as "Money". I can't tell if the currency of this world is called Pejecoins or if it's a translation thing so I'll mention it just incase.

Speaking of "Pejecoins", when interacting with the vending machine next to the Gymnasium our money is also called "Pejecoins" there. Honestly, if you're playing in English it'd be fine to just have the dollar symbol. For example, "Chocolate ($180)" would be fine.

Similarly, when buying stuff from the shop we'll be informed that -[amount] Pejecoins was deducted. Should be -$[amount]. The inverse happens when MC works at his computer, you'll be told "+[amount] Pejecoins".

When on a date with Hayami the flavors will be "$60", "$100", etc but you'll also be told you have "Pejecoins: [amount]" instead of "Money: $[amount]"

For some reason, after class is over and we actually leave the school grounds but then go back to school we can still interact with Hideki's and Kioko's desk. Kioko's desk will inform us she's still in the library, but she isn't actually at the location anymore.

In the afternoon you can interact with Hayami to go get lunch, weirdly enough this doesn't move time forward and it'll still be the afternoon. You can then bug her again to go get lunch with you as long as you have the energy for it. Even more weird, if you go to the gym she'll be there in the background. So she's both sleeping at her desk and chilling in the gym at the same time. But wait, that's not all! If you go to the school rooftop you'll find Hayami. So she's simultaneously sleeping in the classroom, in the gym, AND listening to music on the school rooftop. A couple years ago I joked about there being a clone of MC running around, you can't convince me that there aren't clones of Hayami running around now >;p

Similarly to lunch with Hayami, doing the exercise minigame in the Gym also doesn't seem to move time forward. Neither does doing the "Read Together" interaction with Kioko, it also doesn't make time move forward. So we had lunch with Hayami twice, did some push-ups, and read with Kioko twice but it's still lunch time lol

Even attending class some more in the afternoon didn't change the time. As long as you don't leave the school location everyone remains at school and it'll always be the afternoon. I guess not *really* an issue cause you'd need to grind money (or cheat in energy, I guess) out to make use of infinite afternoon anyway, but might be worth mentioning

After you have lunch with Hayami on the roof, any time you find her on the roof in the afternoon and have lunch with her you'll be told "+20 De Confidence +18 of Happiness" instead of "+20 Confidence +18 Happiness" like other interactions.

During the date with Hayami you'll eventually be told that you don't have any action points left, but you're also never told about how many you have throughout the date. No meter, no message after choosing to walk or get ice cream. You're just suddenly told you have no more action points.

After event Hayami's event #6, if you have select intimacy with her again you'll see the message "You have lost your virginity", even though MC already lost it with them

On Saturday and Sunday morning, we can see that Hayami is at her house but if we attempt to go there we're unable to and are told "Hayami must be at school" but... She's not lol. She's at home because it's the weekend.

Weirdly enough, if we happen to buy the camera despite being told that it'll arrive tomorrow morning, it will immediately be available for use. For example, I bought a camera and could immediately start using it and could see Haru working out despite the fact I've only chatted with Haru twice. Haven't done any of her events or gone to her house. At the time I wrote this, anyway.

After Haru's second event we can finally go to Haru's house, and if we bought the camera, when we get there we get a small scene of MC installing said camera and are told that *now* we can spy on her, even though we could from the get-go.

If you've already had Hayami's sex with Haru, when it comes time to have it with Haru, MC will still say "Relax; this is all new to me too" and still say that he's a virgin even though he's not

Minor typos I had noticed:

When Hideki arrives at MC's place and mentions their English teacher he then thinks "(She really gets excited when I talk about her)" should be he since he's thinking about our MC

When MC is introduced to Haru in the cafeteria she greets MC with "![MC's name]!" No exclamation point is needed at the start for English, should just be "[MC's name]!"

When Hideki says "Hey, hey, don't joke about that, my balls are very important" and MC responds but his chat window/textbox doesn't have any text but Hideki says we're being too defensive over her

After Hayami introduces herself and spots MC her reaction has two upside down exclamation points "!!ii" only the two "!!" are needed as the upside down one isn't used in English

After the first class with Hayami, Akane addresses us as "Student [MC's name]" instead of MC's name when asking us to stay after class for a moment

After clearing things up with Akane and Hayami, when Hideki tells us about a new fast food place there appears to be broken text in between "fast" and "food"

When Akane instructs us to wait for her in the teacher's lounge she addresses us as "student [MC's name]" instead of just MC's name

When MC gets Hayami's attention on the school rooftop for the first time she'll exclaim "i[MC Name]!", no upside down exclamation point is needed

When MC and Hayami go to the Principle she says "Good afternoon, young man [MC name]" she only needs to say young man OR MC's name

During Hayami's 300 trust event on the note we're given in between "pink" and "haired" is broken text

During Hayami's 300 trust event we're told we owe "100,000 pejekoins" should be $100,000. But also it's pejecoins in other instances where it's used. MC then exclaims "100,000 PEJECOINS", also should be $100,000 but also another instance of pejecoins

When doing Haru's first event when MC sleeps over Haru will eventually say "Damn, look at the time, we should go to Domino's" but then mentions her pajamas. I'm guessing she's meant to be saying they should go to "bed" instead of "Domino's"?

After finishing Haru's first event, if you attempt to travel to her house you'll be told "*Unlock Haru's second event to unlock his house*" should be "her" house

During the event when Haru goes shopping with her friends, when she baits MC with food he'll react with "i!" instead of "!", same thing when he trips and sees the girl in purple's panties

During the event when Haru goes shopping with her friends, her friend will say how Haru was drooling in class and Haru responds with "Hey, you shouldn't be telling her that!" when referring to MC. Should be "him"

During the date with Haru during dinner MC will say "It was worth every pejekoin", should be "cent"

Actual bugs I encountered:

Probably fixed in 0.19 but I when I loaded up 0.18 I was met with the "Select Your Language" screen. But the three languages available all appeared to be missing (what I'm assuming is) their flag. I mean, I safe to say that English is the center option, but still. 

You can (seemingly?) safely press the "Ignore" button, but for some reason, this error is spit out when attempting going to text Haru.

When studying with Kioko in the morning, she supposedly gains +7 Confidence and +5 Happiness. But that isn't true, we only gain her trust. The happiness we *would* gain is instead also applied to her trust, so in this example we gain +12 trust with her. Also it's not colored like it is with other characters.

After completing Haru's first event, if you attempt to go to her house again you're told to finish the second event with them. Even though the location is already unlocked and you've already been told how you're always welcome there. After you're told to complete the second event, you'll magically be teleported infront of school even though I was at MC's house when I tried

When on a date with Hayami, if you buy her some ice cream only two of the prices actually take away the correct amount of money. Three flavors says it costs $150 but you only spend $100, and Premium says it costs $250 but only takes $100 as well.

When on your first date with Hayami if you go into "Special" and then into "Interaction" while at "Level 0" two of the boxes are pink and the other two are grayed out. All have no text except "Go Back". But you can't actually click either of the pink boxes, no interactions are actually available yet.  You don't unlock any interactions until you level up with her.

Weirdly enough, if you reach level 1 (or higher) on Hayami's date, you're no longer able to walk with her. You can only buy Ice cream, give gifts or do special interactions with her

For Hayami's 500 trust event/Event #6 the event tracker gives some instructions but also a "All events completed" text is overlayed ontop. But you still have that final event to do with her.

After Hayami's 6th event, in the events tracker just a gray box is shown. No text saying "All events completed" is shown like it (presumably) should be, similar to how it is with Haru

Unfortunate to see that this got put on pause but life happens and it should always come first.

Is there anything specific you're looking for? I think there's a lot of well written ones out there that I could recommend (following 250 devs, I swear I touch grass), but what I think is well written might not be the same for you

Honestly, am glad to be starting a new save. Although I vaguely remember humorous parts, the ones I do remember are still as funny as I remember.

The whole "Noelle why" bit kills me still.

Fair. As someone who just can't pick the mean option in video games anymore cause I'll feel bad after, I can kinda relate.

Honestly, that's best and worst part about characters that are written in a compelling way (especially if they're likeable characters or ones you can relate to in some way/shape/form). You just don't want to do them wrong if it can be helped.

For what it's worth, though! You probably already know, but before progressing you could check and see how many events you've got left in the story and with characters. That way you can decide whether you wanna wait some time for a new update or two before continuing in hopes a resolution comes to settle things for a character/arc.

So. I was planning to let like... 4-5 updates pile up to binge all at once. Needless to say that didn't work out lol.

I expected the reveal to Kana not going so well, but... Man. Didn't expect it to crash and burn that badly. Wishing I stuck to my 4-5 update pile plan, maaybe would've had some resolution for our dear MC. In the meanwhile, hoping that Kana doesn't lash out at Suzu, Miko while at school over it though.

I mean... On one hand I kinda can't picture it, but there was that reaction if we choose to take Yukari with us to the storage closet for a uniform so it's not exactly out of the question.

I quickly scrolled up after starting to read that cause I hadn't played the latest update.

After finishing Ch8, yeah. If it were possible to agree harder with someone I would. Luna and Skylar are prob my favorite LI's for MC. Scarlett and her two daughters are a very close second.

We didn't just get cut when things were getting spicy though, we got things cut twice when things were getting spicy. Which is more cruel, tbh. Especially with how things were cut. Makes me want Ch9 sooner in hopes we'll get answers and a resolution on things lol

For what it's worth, I think that effort you put in shows! I've never gotten the impression "Man, Maelstrom is beating their head against the wall for content here lmao xD" when playing. I've always felt hooked and wanting more cause I was so invested in the events with that character and didn't want it to end so soon.

So, when you say compare it to drawing blood from a stone, I can't help but think that you've got nightmare-ish grip strength and probably a yard full of stone dust from all that you've wrung dry lol

Life comes first, though progress may not be as much or as fast as we may want or expect, it would only end up slower or come to a halt entirely if the happenings of life were just put on pause or ignored.
