Hiya guys,

In anycase, I now have new computer and the internet is actually working and not showing any signs of going bonkers again so all is good. Which means, I've had a looksie, and there's still several people who haven't finished, months after though should've.

Now, to be honest, I'm not to obsessive about it, just so long as there's some sort of indication that people are making the icons. So, please, can people start posting on a fairly regular basis? I don't mind if you go over the five week period, just so long as there is some kind of indication that you are still going to be making those icons.

EDIT: By the way, I do know that this is very very few people. Most of you have, and I'm putting them into memories now, and taking them off the themes list. Instead of going around to each post can I just generally say that they're great? And those two who posted 50 in one post? Or, two posts on the same day, can I say woah?

Just to let you know, I wont be around much. The reasons why are on my LJ, so go look there for details, but basically I can't acess the net too often, and the comp I can do it on doesn't have a graphics program. Can't download one on to it, cause it's dad's and he'd kill me.

So, any aplications to themes may take a while to put through, but they'll still be done (eventually, hopefully not too long).

My theme was alternate universes, and for my first batch I have ten SG-1 icons (including what is likely to be the *only* Sam/Jack icon I will ever make):

7) "proud of myself" ('cause, y'know, she was. Proud of herself. Her alternate self. ;-) )
8) "never knowing what you sacrificed" (I'm not a D/J 'shipper...but there's nevertheless something very poignant and ironic about the fact that SG-1--and Janet--never knew that by "fixing" the timeline to prevent them meeting the Aschen, they condemned her to an early death, and that pic of Daniel just seemed most appropriate to capture that)
9) "fragile toys in the hands of fate" (from a poem I wrote--I'm not a S/J 'shipper either, but just found that one cap very touching and the line very appropriate)
10) "this is the way the world ends"

Next...Atlantis. I hope.

Okay, as has been pointed out a major site and source of screencaps is was down, due to no fault of it's operators mind you. As such, it's a lot harder to find pictures you want. Abydos gate has some, but they're not always as good quality, and they don't always have as many.

As such, I'm just going to ignore the deadlines for a bit now. If that's okay you with you guys?
