KatherineMemberHello
I’ve recently created a blog using the Little Story theme and I love it. While reading on how to create a search engine friendly website, I was directed to a site validator (W3C). However it appears that I cannot validate my blog due to five errors, which I’ve highlighted at the end of this message. Hopefully they are easy fixes as I definitely want people to be able to find my blog via search engines, but I am not an expert in HTML – do I need to try and fix these problems myself or is there some advice/help you can give me so my site can be validated?
Many thanks in advance!
Validation Output: 5 Errors
Line 105, Column 933: Bad value title for attribute name on element meta: Keyword title is not registered.

Flow content, but with no header, footer, or main element descendants.
Error Line 148, Column 24: The hgroup element is obsolete. To group headings and subheadings, alternative titles, or taglines, consider using the header or div elements.

Kathryn P.Happiness EngineerHi there – those are not errors that you need to worry about – they don’t harm your site in any way.
The current W3C validator is not able to accurately validate websites using HTML5, the current standard. It gives you a warning to that effect at the top of the validation output:
Using experimental feature: HTML5 Conformance Checker.
The validator checked your document with an experimental feature: HTML5 Conformance Checker. This feature has been made available for your convenience, but be aware that it may be unreliable, or not perfectly up to date with the latest development of some cutting-edge technologies. If you find any issues with this feature, please report them. Thank you.
