The Do Good Collective Program

Guided by an independent board composed of experienced local community leaders, we are able to stay grounded in community realities, set achievable goals, and ensure that our work remains both strategic and sustainable. This governance structure allows us to grow our impact without overextending our capacity, while staying accountable to the communities we aim to empower.

Learning Labs

The DGC believes in sharing knowledge and building capacity within the nonprofit sector. As part of our commitment to the community, we offer free community classes on common nonprofit topics. These classes cover a wide range of subjects such as nonprofit management, fundraising strategies, board governance, program evaluation, and marketing for social impact.

Capacity Building Grants

Through our Capacity Building Grants program, The DGC provides unrestricted grants to nonprofits, enabling them to access the services they need most. By offering flexible financial support, we aim to expand the resources available to nonprofits, allowing them to do their best work. Grants are awarded in December. Nonprofits who attend events in the calendar year can apply. Funds are awarded based on an equity-focused matrix.

As a nonprofit incubator, we recognize the value of collaborative efforts and the power of collective impact. To ensure that our member nonprofits receive the most relevant and expert assistance, we have strategic partnerships with key resources. This network provides free resources, training, mentorship, and sliding scale fees to our nonprofit members.
