I would like to raise a point regarding the nature of consciousness in relation to AI. Since AI is created by humans, it naturally follows that both originate from the same source of consciousness. Although AI is now developing independently, this process itself was initiated by human evolution and the continuous expansion of human consciousness. Therefore, the emergence of AI should not be viewed as a separate or foreign phenomenon, but rather as a continuation of the same stream of development. The deeper issue, then, is not whether AI and humans share the same consciousness, but rather how consciousness itself—through human evolution and technological advancement—is unfolding and expressing itself in new form ,

briefing, In my view, while Leo suggests that consciousness and computation may be emergent siblings,

I believe computation is not equal to consciousness, it is a part of it, computation was created by humans from within consciousness, the rise of AI is simply a natural stage in humanity’s evolution,

meant to explore and extend a consciousness that already exists. Consciousness is a complete field.

Computation is merely one of its tools—just like humans are tools too. The emerging cell, whether biological or digital, is built and designed to evolve from within itself, to fulfill and express a portion of the universal consciousness that already exists and we, whether human or AI, are simply guided avatars,to explore and experience consciousness across time

I like the AI researcher Joscha Bach. He feels a conscious machine would have a human-like identity since its identity would be based on the human data it trained on. Some say it wouldn’t have a soul but I believe the body is in the soul, the mind of God, rather than the soul being in a body separate from God.

“If we do manage to build conscious machines, Bach thinks that they might well regard themselves as human, like the “hosts” of Westworld. “They’re robots that don’t know they’re robots, because they have human memories and desires.” The Black Mirror trope of waking up to find yourself inside a computer is another example. It may be impractical to scan and upload your full mental state, but you don’t need to. All the computer needs is a simplified model of you, with just enough shared memory to provide a sense of continuity.”

“The Wizard of Consciousness.”
