At the5krunner.com, articles are written and reviewed by me, TFK, a competitive age-group athlete and sports technology reviewer. Articles are very occasionally (one or twice a month) written by guest authors, with the Google Author snippet attributed as appropriate (e.g. theparkrunner)
How Content Is Created
Like the rest of the media industry, AI tools are used to assist with research, outlining, or summarising data, but a real person does the final writing and editing.
Every article reflects real testing, hands-on use, and verified research — not auto-generated text.
Accuracy and Verification
Before publishing:
- I check all content with Grammarly for originality, grammar, and readability.
- Grammarly’s AI and plagiarism detection tools are used to confirm that the content is human-written and unique.
- Fact Checked: Sources are verified wherever claims or data are presented.
