The 100 Club is a non-profit organization that is 100% funded by people like you. Our mission is to provide immediate financial assistance to the dependent families of peace officers and firefighters who are killed or seriously injured in the line of duty and to provide life-saving equipment to local law enforcement agencies.

When a hero falls, we step in to financially support their dependent family.

Peace Officer   | TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY | Lost in the line of duty June 17, 2026

Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol Trooper Sergio Romero was killed in the line of duty in a fatal vehicle accident near Childress, Texas on June 17, 2026. He had been with the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol for a little over a year. He is survived by his wife and two young children.

Peace Officer   | Houston Police Department | Lost in the line of duty September 17, 2025

Houston Police Department Senior Police Officer Alex Roberts was killed in the line of duty on September 17, 2025 while conducting a traffic escort on his motorcycle when he was struck by another vehicle. Senior Police Officer Roberts had been with Houston Police Department for 15 years. He is survived by his wife and young daughter.

Firefighter | Houston Fire Department | Lost in the line of duty September 17, 2025

The Houston Fire Department Firefighter Paramedic Stephen Scott passed away in the line of duty September 17, 2025 following an on-duty medical emergency that occurred on September 14, 2025. Firefighter Paramedic Scott had been with Houston Fire Department for 28 years. He is survived by his wife and adult children.
