Kyiv doesn't have enough bomb shelters to accommodate all its residents. And if Putin had targeted only residential buildings, as you lied, the death toll would be in the thousands per day. The last time the former First Army took lessons from the great Ukrainian Army, the result was an epic failure in the war against the ayatollahs. It's scary to imagine what the outcome of this, albeit fictitious, drone sale might be. 1 from100 drones means Putin has practically stopped it.

The Rules To The Game Of Life: What Are They? Great suggestion on sharing histories, or life stories, Pinetree. What a great way to convey understanding of how a particular worldview developed via human storytelling. I'll certainly share mine. I rather think it will be fascinating for people to read these stories. Why? Because they'll be able to relate to them. And yes, I will also gladly share my original intention for creating this thread for I did have a very specific and clear intention. I probably should have stated it in the OP. Perhaps it's the right time for us both to share with the forum, without unduly compromising our anonymity, where we think that 'it' all started. How we developed, evolved, grew as individuals and the influences that shaped our World View. This may make boring reading for some, as life stories are often only interesting to the individual concerned, but others may also be interested in sharing their life development histories? Is that perhaps what you intended from the very beginning of this post subject, for without whole life context, like the Doctor having to take a medical history, if not considered, the conclusions may make little sense and be of limited value? I would greatly value your view and that of others who are following this subject post?

Bangkok Pride 2026 kicks off as Thailand LGBTQ+ openness meets Marriage Equality era

https://thaigertalk.com/topic/48125-bangkok-pride-2026-kicks-off-as-thailand-lgbtq-openness-meets-marriage-equality-era/?do=findComment&comment=616766

Now that we've had the Pride celebration, are we going to move on to the Sloth celebration, the Gluttony celebration, the Greed celebration and so on, until we have covered all of the seven deadly sins?

EU Politics

https://thaigertalk.com/topic/43617-eu-politics/?do=findComment&comment=616765

A really good comment in this video (this is the Antifa Democrats claim doesn't exist). Fact is the Soviet Union did a wonderful job of underground shelters for protecting the people of Kyiv (no doubt Putin isn’t happy about that fact). You've been showing such depth in your latest postings and I have to say I utterly appreciate the delightfulness of it. In my eyes you've just made yourself one of the top quality posters on this thread. I certainly look forward to more of your thoughts. I have to now give a shoutout to you as well. You have, no doubt unwittingly, done me a great service for which I am endlessly thankful. A lot of folks on this forum see me as a prick. Very rough around the edges and oftentimes not too kind to others. I'll dispense with getting into that in any depth for now. However, here's what you've opened my eyes to. The two of us have certain commonalities that I can plainly see. One of those is our intellects. They are fine and sharp. Another is our position in this world as more an observer than a participant. I, too, have few friends. I, too, have little desire for constant socializing. Although, I am anything but a bore when I do socialize. I once had one fellow approach me at a gathering to pointedly comment on how much he enjoyed my company above all others. Here are some quotes for you, Pinetree, that I believe you'll find to be splendid expressions of your sentiments. I can say they are most fitting for me. “The most satisfying way of living is to work in solitude, surrounded by the things you love.” — Carl Jung, a paraphrased or popularized version of his broader ideas rather than a verbatim quote from his published works “The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” — Carl Jung “I find it wholesome to be alone the greater part of the time. To be in company, even with the best, is soon wearisome and dissipating. I love to be alone.” — Henry David Thoreau, Walden (1854) “In solitude there grows what anyone brings into it, the inner beast as well. Therefore solitude is inadvisable to many.” — Friedrich Nietzsche, Human (1878) “The greatest thing in the world is to know how to belong to oneself.” — Michel de Montaigne, Essays (1580) “I will not be ‘famous,’ ‘great.’ I will go on adventuring, changing, opening my mind and my eyes, refusing to be stamped and stereotyped. The thing is to free one’s self: to let it find its dimensions, not be impeded.” — Virginia Woolf, personal diary (April 27, 1929) I could offer many more wonderful quotes but these are some of my favourites which mirror my sentiments about the benefits of solitude as a way of discovering and becoming more one's true self. Not to get lost in my perceived commonalities with you, Pinetree, but those commonalities play into what you've opened my eyes to. Which, in essence, is the error of my ways. You see, Pinetree, since I also am an observer, and since I also see the world with a clear-eyed vision, and since I also have a sharp and fine intellect that allows me to reason well and make good employment of logic and deductive reasoning, I've been moved to share all that I've learned in life thus far with others so that they might benefit from what I have learned as much as I've benefited from it. Of course, I leave it up to the reader to make use of it, or not, according to their own unique predilections and inclinations. I have no creative jurisdiction over anyone else's creation. I am limited to mere influence only. And that I will make full use of. Okay, so I've exposed my desire to be of benefit to others. But here's where I went horribly sideways: all along my approach has been, in essence, to use my gift of reasoning and logic to show people where they are wrong in their thinking, then to elucidate endlessly on what the right way of thinking is, and to then bring to bear all of the persuasive power of my reasoning and logic to get them to see "the light." Excuse my French, but I've since come to realize, with your assistance, Pinetree, how phucked up my approach truly was. I made myself a prick. And a huge, insolent, overbearing (okay, enough adjectives though there are plenty more) one I was. Well, though it's not meant as an excuse, nor as justification, life is about learning and mistakes are inherent in all learning. Therefore I can feel neither guilt nor shame for the error of my ways. If, apologies help anyone then PM me for a full two-page repentive missive. The bottom line to all of this, Pinetree, is that we have had our own harsh words over our differing views of who we are as humans, life, and the world. Your recent post, and this subsequent one, in which you opened the window for all to see your true self, was so rife with candor and genuineness that for the first time I had a clear and profound glimpse of Pinetree as the true honest and affable human being he is. Yes, your views still differ in dramatic fashion but I've come to finally recognize their value to you. Not to me, but to you. And that I've never met you before on the ground you stand on and inhabit. I had been too busy commanding you to come where I was standing to see the view of the world from my vantage point and for you to leave yours. What right had I? None. What wisdom did I possess that had me conclude what was best for you? I am writing a book, Pinetree, on the very nature of what I speak about on this thread. You have just earned yourself a line on my "Dedicated To" page. It may just read "Pinetree" but that's good enough. Whilst you may not recognize the profound impact this has all had on me I will assure you that its impact is certainly felt by me and will have many beneficial repercussions. And so, I thank you, Pinetree, for doing me a good turn. Whilst I intend to leave a legacy, and since you will be mentioned in it, then technically you will share in my legacy. I suspect you might see that as meaningless but I will be the one to give it meaning. “In solitude there grows what anyone brings into it " Perhaps my favourite line. What I choose to bring into mine and let flourish is beyond all of the material wealth any world can offer. This post is dedicated to you, Good Sir.

Life in the Isaan Boonies.

https://thaigertalk.com/topic/35763-life-in-the-isaan-boonies/?do=findComment&comment=616759

Anyone got an updates in Snaps - getting a bit worried - long time since last post.

Ukraine/Russian Conflict - General Discussion

https://thaigertalk.com/topic/15532-ukrainerussian-conflict-general-discussion/?do=findComment&comment=616758

Nothing funny about it. Russian intensity and effectiveness has also increased.
