--> This is a great look on Susan, and how she struggles with the expectations of those meeting her, and of the expectations she thinks she has to meet. In the end her by-name "The Gentle" doesn't define her as much as she defines it.

sga_flashfic's Dark Side Challenge. I don't want to give away too much of the story, but it deals with the darker aspects of the Pegasus galaxy which are rarely shown on the show. The story's creepy and horrifying in a very real way, beautifully written and has great characterization. The images and feelings evoked stayed with me for a long time.
