Does Maine Have Term Limits on Their Governor?

Yes- Maine has a consecutive term limit of two four year terms. At present, current Governor Janet Mills (as of 4/14/25), will have served two terms by the next gubernatorial election (11/3/26), so she will be ineligible to run for reelection.
