About TechSquidTV
I am Kyle Tryon, also known as @TechSquidTV, a life-long self-taught developer and general tinkerer, turned remote Developer Advocate & Content Creator.
I created the TechSquidTV YouTube channel back in 2016 while working a retail job to document my journey becoming a developer and to teach others along the way. Since then, I've been working remotely for one of the premiere CI/CD providers in the world, continuing to develop my skills, and working on some interesting side projects in open-source.
Growing up in a non-technical house-hold in the mid-90's, there were not a lot of available quality resources for learning about technology or programming. I started content creation around the age of 14 to begin contributing higher quality technical tutorial content on YouTube. I began learning in tandem with web development, software like Adobe After Effects and Illustrator, so that I could create better visual explanations of the concepts I was learning. I've recently added 3D modeling and animation to my content as well with Blender.
Here I post my deep dives into topics I'm interested in, share my experiments, and log my journey as a developer.
