Apple's Upcoming Product Pipeline Is the Best in 25 Years

Apple just bought Beats, but that doesn't mean it's not carefully planning the launch of its own products, and according to Apple SVP Eddy Cue, the company has some very exciting ones in the works.

“We’ve got the best product pipeline that I’ve seen in my 25 years at Apple,” Cue told Kara Swisher and Walt Mossberg Wednesday at the Code Conference in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.

No specifics were given, and it could just be Apple's standard pre-launch hype. However, 2014 really could be an interesting year for Apple.

We know that the company's upcoming product lineup includes an iPhone — the question is, how many iPhones, and what will be their screen sizes? A rumor from May claimed the iPhone 6 might have a 4.7-inch screen and a very thin profile, and we've also heard talk about Apple launching more than one iPhone this year.

We can also expect Mac upgrades on all fronts (an ultrathin 12-inch MacBook Air is one of the most exciting rumors we've heard), and probably a new iPad Air and iPad mini.

Most importantly, we've heard talk about several completely new product categories, including a smartwatch and a smart home system.

We'll know a little bit more about Apple's plans at this year's WWDC conference, which runs from June 2 - 6 at Moscone West in San Francisco. For the rest, we'll probably have to wait until August or September.

From : Mashable.com

We wait for the following news.

Apple - which produces iPhones - and firms that make phones using Google's Android software earlier filed dozens of lawsuits against one another.

Earlier this month, a jury in California ordered South Korea's Samsung firm to pay Apple $119.6m for for infringing two of its patents. The court also ruled that Apple infringed Samsung's patents and awarded $158,000 in damages.

Android software is now installed on some 80% of new phones sold every year.

Because the number of Firefox users are so many, it would be easy to direct users to the Mozilla site, and even now already done like that.

From the basis of the above two, it can be concluded that, in fact the idea Mozilla is the easiest idea to be realized, because it does not need to bring up a website with a new concept of neighbor advertisement, but enough to add or update their Firefox software to be able to trigger an ad they offer.

But I realize that the decisions they make in the idea certainly is not as easy back your hand, but with careful consideration of the full technical and business terms; although the final decision would thus surely all of the users.

Google Docs, Sheets and Slides Is Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

You can access the documents, spreadsheets, and presentations you create from any computer, anywhere in the world. (There's even some work you can do without an Internet connection!) This guide will give you a quick overview of the many things that you can do with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

Google launched Google Docs, Sheets and Slides apps for iOS on Wednesday to challenge Microsoft Office for iPad.

Standalone Google Docs and Sheets and apps are available to download now from the iTunes Store, with a Slides app set to arrive later in the year.

Until now, iOS users had to make do with a Google Drive app for viewing and editing Google Docs.

Now Google Docs, Sheets and Slides apps for iOS is Microsoft Office rival.

These apps arrive just a month after Microsoft Office for iPad, as Google looks to challenge its rival in the productivity suite market. With Microsoft's Word, Excel and Powerpoint apps requiring a Microsoft Office 365 subscription, Google might just manage to do that, with its stanalone apps being made available for free.

Google product manager Brian Levee said in a blog post on Wednesday, "Every year, phones and tablets get better, and more of you are starting to use your mobile devices not just to view, but also to create and edit content. "While the Drive app is a convenient place to store your stuff, we want to make it easier for you to quickly find, edit and create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations on the go." Much like the Drive app, the Google Docs, Sheets and Slides apps display a user's most recently edited files first, and the apps allow users to collaborate on documents at the same time.

There's also an offline mode, allowing users to view and edit their files without an internet connection. "Now, if you have a brilliant idea for a best-selling novel while traipsing through the Amazonian rainforest (or you know, something more probable, like during flight takeoff)... no problem.

You can jot down your idea in the Docs app on your phone, even when you're offline," Levee added. Google's new standalone productivity apps are also available on Android devices, of course, and are free to download from the Google Play store.

So clear with google doc, sheet and slide, we can not need to install software locally on your hardware, simply browse to the address you enter:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet
https://docs.google.com/document
https://docs.google.com/presentation
and we can enjoy from anywhere.

http://www.senatechno.com/

Hello. I have a toshiba satellite l455d-s5976. The hard drive on it, running Windows 7. Home premium. 32 bit., stopped working. We bought a new one that's bigger at 320 gigs. When i put in the repair disk it loads files and then prompts me to put in disk one. When i do that, it pops the disk out and asks again. I talked to tech support with toshiba and they just want to sell me new recovery disks. The disk works as i put it in my other computer and was able to view the files. What can i do to solve this and load Windows?

Thanks in advance!

Can anyone help with Saints Row 3?

I can't get help with this anywhere else. Everyone keeps telling me to turn down my graphics and play in DirectX 9, and that doesn't help.

Okay, I'm on a laptop. (ETA: I have Windows 8, and I'm playing through Steam. Just realized I forgot to mention.) I have an Intel HD 4000 built-in card. When I play SR3 in DirectX 11, I experience massive slow motion. When I play in DirectX 9, I experience massive slow motion couple with lag and jerkiness.

I realize my laptop doesn't quite meet minimum specs, but this problem is relative new. I bought the game and played on medium graphics quality with only some minor lag while driving for about two months. Then I started up the game one day, and it was suddenly unplayable. I changed nothing, no mods, didn't change my graphics, didn't even change anything on the rest of the laptop that I can remember. At that point, I tried lowering my graphics and resolution, which didn't change anything in the slightest, and played in DirectX 9, which only added lag and jerkiness.

I tried tweaking my laptop a bit to increase performance and wound up just ruining everything. I fixed my laptop my doing a reinstall, and suddenly Saints Row 3 was running just fine again. For about two days, and then the slow motion started up again. The only thing I changed this time was to install the rest of my Steam games, and now I'm wondering if maybe I just have too many installed?

Anyway, if anyone has advice, I would be eternally grateful. It used to run just fine, and I can't understand why it suddenly isn't.

Also, my friend is reading Volition's tech support right now and mentioned that it might be a memory leak. I have tried changing the priority to high when I play, and that didn't help either. If there's any other ways to deal with a memory leak, I'd be willing to try them.

Getting to the bottom of my strangest computer problem.

Last summer I was experiencing a very strange and irritating Internet connectivity issue in which I could access my browser and Skype fine but could not access messengers or MMOs. Running ping tests in the command prompt returned "Request timed out" messages and it affected all computers on the network. This issue was only fixed by getting a new modem and I never actually figured out what was causing it--even the tech support for my ISP couldn't figure out what was causing it after I called them about it multiple times.

Now the glitch is coming back to haunt me with my new modem but it doesn't stick around. It seems to only happen when Steam is updating, and for some reason it not only affects Steam but my non-Steam MMO, Grand Chase, as well. I don't get "Request timed out" anymore but I do get the old Failed To Connect errors I did back then. Whenever Steam has to update, I get the Failed To Connect error on Steam after the update. I press retry, and it works fine. But what's odd is, if I happen to try to start up Grand Chase during the time Steam would attempt to update (even if Steam is not even open at the time), Grand Chase gives me a Failed To Connect error too that is remedied after I fix Steam's error. I feel like this glitch is related to that problem I had last summer and I'm trying to use it to get to the bottom of why that happened so I can make sure it doesn't happen again. The glitch only just started this month--last week, to be precise. I asked some tech-inclined friends what's going on and none of them can figure it out either. Grand Chase is a non-Steam game so the fact that its errors seem to resonate with Steam's is very strange to me. One of them suggested changing the Steam download speed to 56k instead of 256k so updating might be less hard on my system, which I tried. No clue if it worked yet, of course.

I feel like the two glitches are definitely related and I really would like to know what could possibly be causing this so I don't have to worry about getting another 6-month outage.

How to Choose the Right Website Hosting Service for the Business

Before a website may be observable and used by people on the Internet how to Choose the Right Website Hosting Service for Your Company it wants to be submitted to a hosting server. A webhost is websites that are put by a company on the Internet so that people can notice them and visit. Your web host will put your site on their high-power server that is attached to the Net. Put simply, the web host rents out machine room to you, enabling on the Internet your website to be put by you.

There are a large number of web hosting companies on the Net, each offering different hosting programs. When looking for a web host, you need to do extensive research on the different obtainable options. All web hosting providers are not created equal. They don't all provide the same quality and level of service. You need to locate a company that will assistance you need and provide the kind of providers. Here are some guidelines for choosing a hosting supplier that will match your business needs.

A lot is varyed by prices for website hosting. If you expect to achieve success and are severe about your business, then steer away from free web hosting options. If you want to know more about fast, reliable and cost-saving plans, read the Hostgator Coupons. Free Web site hosting sounds appealing but has some disadvantages. Frequently, you can find adverts on a website it includes the presence of advertisements on a website that uses free hosting method. Such adverts may be annoying and will drive visitors and potential clients away from the site. Therefore it is not a great idea to sponsor a business site on a free method.

Picking the proper web hosting supplier for the business site isn't something to be taken casually. There are a few important factors you need to take into account before you choose a website hosting business to register with.
Disk space and Bandwidth

This is a significant technical necessity that anybody looking for net hosting should take into consideration before choosing a web hosting plan. In the event the site you plan to print does not have many web pages, then you should not bother about the disk space requirement. But, if you intend to write a site with a whole lot of articles, including huge amount of images, mp3 or video files, you should obtain a web hosting program that comes with huge disk space.

Likewise, the total amount of bandwidth you require will depend on the amount of traffic your site is expected to receive. A site that needs to receive large volumes of traffic will use up huge bandwidth. Should you expect your site to entice plenty of traffic, then you'll need to select a website hosting company that offers enormous bandwidth.

Dependability

An outstanding website hosting supplier will provide fast Internet relationship and reliable server uptime. You should select a web hosting supplier that promises as much as 99% server uptime aswell as high-speed Internet connection. An assurance of 99% uptime means that your site can be available on the web.

Customer Assistance

Another important consideration in choosing a website hosting business is quality of assistance and customer service. Usually look for a website hosting service that offers reliable technical support 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That is to make sure that any web hosting problems will soon be resolved rapidly. You can send an request e-mail to them, to discover how fast their support responds. A company with outstanding assistance will respond within 24 hours, while a company that requires several day to reply has bad customer care.

I don't know how I got it, but it's a click-redirect adware and everytime I click a link on a search engine, I'll be redirected to some stupid ad site and have to hit the back button and click again to get to the link. I have Malwarebytes, Spybot Search and Destroy, and Norton Antivirus and have run scans on all three of them multiple times since then. It won't remove it. I don't know how to remove it manually because I don't know what it is that's causing it. How do I get rid of this?

So I've sort of got a weird problem. I'm a walking static bomb, and it gets worse in the winter. Normally this isn't a big deal, and when I'm at home, I just make sure to discharge before going near electronics.
However, I have a fairly long commute (on a train, NOT in a car) during which I listen to my mp3 player with headphones. Occasionally, I brush against my player and discharge static into it. I feel the shock, and I know the player is affected because it either turns off or restarts when it happens. The player is in a leather case, and the headphones have no metal bits that are touching me, so I'm not even sure how I'm discharging.

At first I thought it was something wrong with my music player, and then I thought it was the headphones, but I've changed both (the music player died, incidentally) and it's still happening.

I don't care about the shock, but I'm afraid the repeated ESD is going to kill my player. Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do considering I can't necessarily hunt down a ground while commuting? Is there any sort of device I can buy/build to carry around to discharge static into? I see they sell little "static discharge" keychains but they still require a ground to work. And I have a standard ESD wristband for working inside my computer, but again, that's not much help when I'm on the move with no reliable source of grounding. Or is there a better way to protect my player from the electricity build up? This has happened regardless of the time of year and what I was wearing, so suggestions on that front aren't really helpful...

help with laptop running hot?

My 2 year old laptop is running hot. It's gotten to the point where the fan kicks in pretty much right after I turn it on, and kicks into high speed if I do anything, like open a browser window. According to Speedfan, the temperatures are too high a bunch of/most of the time (around 75 degrees Celsius, if I remember correctly) unless I'm doing nothing at all. Anyone have thoughts on what would be causing this? It's not causing a ton of problems (I think things are slowed a bit) but I don't want to burn anything out.

I went inside the case to clean the fan, expecting it to be dirty, but it was clean and the problem continues. Not vents seem to be blocked, and I also tried a standard laptop cooling pad (vented metal, with fans). I think the next step is going to be reapplying paste to the CPU, but is there anything else I should be looking for?

My friend's Dell Latitude 0400 laptop has been having a strange problem since this morning that he can't seem to be able to fix. The computer will not power up. The power-up lights turn on and flicker for a few seconds, but they soon flicker out and the screen never boots. He's checked the battery and it's fine, and he's tried plugging it in, twice. It does this no matter what power supply it's hooked up to. He didn't do anything to it and he's been at school all day and discovered this problem after he came back from school. We're both stumped.

I have this really stupid piece of malware on my computer I can't remove, called IWinGames. There are 3 instances of it on my computer according to Spybot S&D and it's this really annoying thing that keeps giving me click-redirect ads whenever I use a search engine. And I can't get rid of it.

I don't have any actual IWinGames programs on the computer. I never downloaded this thing. Didn't even know what it was. I think I somehow got it via adware on a Tinychat that was throwing ads at me till I got adblock plus. Malwarebytes and Spybot S&D won't remove it and neither will my antivirus. How the heck do I get rid of this annoyance?

Online certification training advice request

Has anyone used quickcert.com for preparing for certification tests? My certifications were from my local community college and are outdated. I'm currently between jobs and having a tough time finding work. Current certifications from Microsoft, CompTIA and Cisco would help. The recent reviews online for quickcert are mixed. The older ones are terrible. They are still using the hard sell method with a short expiration date on the offer which makes me suspicious.

Does anyone have advice on good places to get affordable online training?

PC very slow to start, any ideas?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone here had any idea what's going on with my PC? For the past few months, my PC had occasionally failed to load Windows. Startup repair would usually fix things, until the day it didn't. All my various troubleshooting ideas failed, so I backed up and restored the system from a hidden partition.
Now my computer takes more than half an hour to start responding after it's switched on. Once it starts responding, it'll be fine for most of the day, but then it'll eventually freeze up again, especially if I leave it alone while I go and eat my lunch or something. I did not have this problem before restoring the system, so I've done a virus scan, I've run scandisk, I've defragmented, I've gone into msconfig and unchecked a few things, although as the OS got reinstalled, there wasn't much there to fiddle with. I did some Googling and apparently this sort of thing can be a sign of hard disk failure, so I downloaded a diagnostic disk from Seagate and it couldn't find any problems. I'm hoping that's not the problem and it's something that can be fixed, but I'm all out of ideas. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

ETA: The problem was Adaware! Never had a problem with it before, I guess when I reinstalled, I got a newer version that my computer can't handle.

Help finding a Windows key.

To cut a long story short, my sister's friend asked me to look at his laptop because Windows is dead. I'm pretty sure at this point that it will need reinstalling, but the product key on the sticker is completely faded away. I have managed to export his registry, but beyond that, I'm stuck. JellyBean couldn't find it, ProduKey couldn't find it, and all the other keyfinder programs I've found only work on my own system. Anyone got any ideas how I can find his Windows key?
ETA: Found! I hope. And my own PC is fixed too. Which leads me to a new question: I fixed my own PC after discovering the hidden recovery partition, which allowed me to restore the factory settings. Then I wondered if there was one on the laptop I'm trying to fix, and apparently there is. Buuuuuut I can't to work. Seems the laptop originally came with Vista and when it was upgraded to Windows 7, it disabled the ability to access it through the boot menu. Is there any way I can access that recovery partition and restore the laptop to factory settings?

My Sony Vaio VGN-NR140E (Vista) was closed and plugged in -- unbeknownst to me -- directly under a leaky dormer window at my MIL's house. This was last Thursday night. Here's what I have tried to get it up and running again:
1. Trying to turn it on immediately. (YES I KNOW NOW THAT IS THE LAST THING I SHOULD DO, information that would have been helpful to have BEFORE it got rained on, so please don't reprimand me, 'kay?) I got power but it didn't boot up.
2. Found out that it was the exact wrong thing to do, so I unplugged it and removed the battery pronto.
3. Took the battery out and left it in a box of rice for two days.
4. Left my laptop open and inverted for two days to dry.
5. Tested laptop with both battery and power cord. It started booting up but shut off after a couple of seconds.
6. Removed back panel and made absolutely positively sure all was dry.
7. See #5
8. Tried booting up in F8 safe mode with no luck.

So how do I get it to boot up and stick? The best way I can describe it is like a car turning over but the ignition doesn't catch. Please let me know if you have anything...

Thanks!
