Publisher Description
Teaching Templates is a new, varied and timesaving set of nine authoring tools to help you create interactive, web-based exercises, tests and quizzes - including Multiple Choice, Question Time, Gap Text (based on the Cloze test procedure), Energy Saver (fill in the missing letters), In Other Words, What's Your Opinion?, Flashcards, Mastermind and Playtime. When the opening menu displays, simply click on the template you want; you'll go to its build screen. After selecting the font and background color, create the test by filling in the fields and then save your test. To see how it looks in HTML, simply click on the View Quiz button, and your well-rendered test will be displayed within seconds. Your test creations can be incorporated into a Web page on the Internet or executed as standalone programs at home or in the classroom. The trial version includes helpful samples of each test type and is fully functional. Teaching Templates is published by Tac-Soft, a company that designs specialised utilities for teaching and academic purposes. The Unicode support that the program offers provides exciting new opportunities for the creation of multilingual tests and contributes significantly to the global distribution and compatitibility of your quizzes. The Teaching Templates suite is the result of the research work of Prof. Dr. John F. Turner and his team at Reutlingen University in Germany. It is the latest in a series of software publications that started in 1991 with the publication by Cornelsen and Oxford University Press of a simple DOS program for teaching Business English grammar and vocabulary.
