Talking Rain Beverage Company®, leading beverage company and maker of the #1 flavored sparkling water, Sparkling Ice®, is proud to announce the company has raised a total of $1 Million to date supporting non-profits benefitting America’s Veterans and Veteran families.
To achieve this incredible philanthropic milestone, Talking Rain has supported Veteran charitable organizations Honor Flight Network since 2016 and Homes For Our Troops since 2021. The company also raised funds through the annual Sparkling Ice “Cheers to Heroes” program, an initiative that began in 2020 created to honor America’s everyday heroes and support the Veteran community. During this year’s Cheers to Heroes campaign, Talking Rain raised over $325,000 for Homes For Our Troops and Honor Flight Network through consumer donations via the Sparkling Ice Rewards program, donations from additional partners, and in-store display programs for the campaign.

Since 2021, Talking Rain has supported 21 home builds in partnership with Homes For Our Troops. Additionally, the brand has helped fund over 900 all-expenses paid Veteran trips with Honor Flight Network since 2016 and within the next year, will be funding an additional 150 more trips reaching a total of over 1,000 veterans flown to the memorials in Washington, D.C. This year alone, Talking Rain has sponsored three honor flights departing out of Seattle through the Puget Sound Honor Flight Hub, with the next flight scheduled for April 22nd, 2023. This year, the company will also be sponsoring the first-ever Honor Flight departing from Hawai‘i. This inaugural flight, honoring 28 local veterans, will depart Honolulu on Monday, November 7th and return on Veteran’s Day, Friday, November 11th.
A long-time partner of Talking Rain, the Honor Flight Network is a national network of hubs dedicated to celebrating America’s veterans. The organization invites WWII, Korean, and Vietnam war veterans to share in a day of honor at our nation’s memorials, and the network has provided flights for over 250,000 veterans to date.
Homes For Our Troops is a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting the severely injured Veteran community by building and donating specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, enabling them to rebuild their lives.
