layer_two
❤️ Created from the_coin.
⭐️ Mint new visualizations weekly.
⛓ layer_two calls the_coin token's on-chain data to create new visualizations, little tapestries more complex and curious. layer_two tokens are also 100% on-chain, an expression of expanding, diversifying crypto ecosystems, built on top of each other, fusing into new forms. Full details about layer_two are on the Medium post.

Test here before you mint
The interface below calls the layer_two contract on Ethereum, and lets you test out your layer_two (L2) visual before minting a token. Owners can create an "L2" token every week or so (210,000/5 = 42,000 Ethereum blocks) for the cost of gas only. (This interface and the layer_two project were developed and tested for OpenSea and Google Chrome. See other notes, terms and conditions below.)
Instructions:
- Choose one of the_coin token IDs that you own in the dropdown below
- Click hash(); and the layer_two (random) nonce and visual should update
- Click hash(); until you find a rendering you like (suggestion: save your nonce in a text file and copy it back into the "manual" entry box below and hash again—that way you can confirm that the exact nonce you have produces the visual you desire)
- Enter your chosen token ID and corresponding nonce into the mintL2Token(...) function on Etherscan

Important note: The preview interface here is an experimental application, and because it relies upon an external node to summon data from the chain, it may not persist. Use at your own risk, and see the Medium post on layer_two for tips on how to use Etherscan instead of this tool.
Terms & conditions: Experimental, use at your own risk. Each token provided as-is and as-available without any and all warranty. By using this contract you accept sole responsibility for any and all transactions involving layer_two. Tokens may appear different across browsers, and may not be formatted correctly on all exchanges. No assurances of any kind given. Like any project of this nature, there may be unforeseen errors or issues that are discovered during the course of deployment and use. These are important caveats, but I hope you like it.
