Mandatory Document Requirements for Taiwan eVisa
The following requirements apply to all Taiwan eVisa applications, regardless of visa type.
Passport Bio Page Scan
- Your passport bio page must be machine-readable.
- Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your intended date of entry into Taiwan.
- Submit a coloured, high-quality, clear scan of the bio page.
- Altered, modified, or photocopied versions are not accepted.
Can I renew my passport after submitting the eVisa application?
Renew your passport before you apply. Submitting with an expiring passport can cause delays or complications with your application.
Applicant Photo
- Your full face must be clearly visible in the photo.
- Use a recent, coloured photo taken against a plain white background.
- Look directly into the camera with a neutral expression.
- Do not wear headgear, a mask, or sunglasses in the photograph.
How recent should my photo be?
Your photo must have been taken within the 6 months before your application date.
Additional Requirements for Business eVisa
Copy of Visiting Card with Personal Particulars
Your official business card (visiting card) must clearly show all of the following:
- Your full name, exactly as it appears on your passport
- The name of your company and the company name in Taiwan
- Your designation or job title (for example: Manager, Director, Sales Executive)
- Official company email address and phone number, in both your country and in Taiwan
- Company office address in your country (and in Taiwan, if applicable)
Note: If the back of your business card contains details, submit scans of both sides.
How to Upload Documents for the Taiwan eVisa Application
Prepare Documents : Gather all required documents for your visa type. Confirm that each document is current and valid.
Upload Documents : Complete the application form with accurate details and upload your required documents.
Receive Your eVisa : Pay the eVisa fee. Your approved eVisa will be sent to your registered email address.
Taiwan eVisa Application and Document Guidelines
- Check your email regularly for correction requests or document follow-ups.
- Do not upload low-quality scans or screenshots of documents.
- Enter your details in the application exactly as they appear in your passport.
- Apply for a passport renewal if your passport is close to expiry.
What can I do if I could not complete my Taiwan eVisa document submission?
You can resume an incomplete submission in two ways:
- Use your temporary order ID number to pick up where you left off and complete the document submission.
- Contact Taiwan eVisa support for guidance on document submission or any other queries about your application.
